Do you wanna know why? 'Cause we go through this almost every other week now. You get that itch again, start lookin' for a new horrible place to send me. Then you get all nervous and wishy-washy and just go back to throwing me at total strangers. And every time I'm not sure what's worse; getting shipped off and potentially, y'know, dying, or gettin' shoved back in the box again. It's not what I'd call an ideal situation, here.

I mean don't get me wrong. It's kinda nice in here. The food's not the best, and I could kinda use something to do, but it's, y'know, safe. I can deal with safe. And hey, your other, uh, 'muses' are some pretty swell guys. Mostly, I mean.

Look, if you're doin' this, just put me somewhere nice, okay? That's all I ask.

Well, the thing is, I'm not really that good at it. The forcing thing.

People always tell me I gotta be more assertive, but I don't think I've got it in me, y'know?

Well now, that's uh, kind of a tough question. I mean, what do I want? What does anyone want, really?

Y'know food, place to rest, roof over my head, I'm not really askin' for much here. Kind of a, kind of a simple guy.

I... well, uh... yeah, kind of. I mean, it'd be nice to not have anybody plug their noses and try to ignore me whenever I go out.

I guess that's what I really want, out of everything.

I mean, I don't wanna be the center of attention or anything. That's just not me. But, y'know, a little recognition once in a while couldn't hurt.
