why would you do this
[Seriously, Trainer-Mun, why? He was just having fun making snacks for all the weirdos in your headspace when you had to go and throw him here. There's no baking supplies here! What do you expect him to do?]
[Okay, handing out baked goods, maybe. There's so many people here, though...! He's going to run out of Poképuffs before you can say "Xerneas!" He hasn't even had the time to head back to the berry fields and get ingredients...]
[Oh well. Dahaka's stuck here, so he might as well make the best of things. The Pokémon quickly sets up a little stand, with a big sign on the front:]
Free snacks!
Tips and conversation appreciated. ♥
[Get him some more icons while he hands stuff out, mun. He can wait.]

[Then, after nibbling on one for a moment, he smiles warmly.]
Hey, these are pretty tasty! You bake them yourself?
what are icons
[After that, though, he just nods and grins at the human. Sure, he's a Grass-type, but the heat of the ovens is totally worth it to make people happy... like this person! Dahaka will just... tilt his head, like he's asking who you are.]
[Come to think of it, are you a Trainer? Where's your balls?
not sorry]things of wonder and mystery, clearly
BESIDES YOU SAID THEY WERE FREE...][At the headtilt, however, Tyson just points to himself with a bewildered expression.]
Eh? Me?
[HE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO SPEAK... ... ... BIG GREEN CREATURE.]
I'm Tyson. [AS IF THIS THING CAN UNDERSTAND.]
I can't weaken the icons enough to catch them
...Hi, Ty-sohn. [Pointing at himself:] Da-hah-kah.
[He just grins, happy that he managed that much. English is hard; how did that one Meowth ever manage it? Dahaka can't imagine being able to speak as fluently as a human... patience, though. He'll get it.]
You... Tray-nehr?
That's okay, just go grab a bunch of Ultra Balls later
... A trainer? Me? [A long pause. He's not familiar with Pokemon, okay...??] Uh... no, I'm not a trainer. Just a high school student.
Gotcha! Icons was caught!
Here. Eat.
[Students are all poor because they don't win money from battles, right? Clearly this man needs some nutrition! Dahaka will take one of the plates of goodies and hold it out for Tyson, a little smile on his face. Go ahead, they're free... just tip him with proper money next time!]

Making a face, he cautiously steps over to the stand, which is...a bit too tall for the little Oshawott to reach. Not like that's gonna stop him. No, he's going to reeeachhh, resulting in only his paw being visible as it gropes blindly for one of the treats.]
no subject
[...What is that? Must be a Pokémon from some other region; he's certainly never seen one before. He just pauses, gazing down at the Oshawott; well, tourists are always appreciated, and at least he can communicate with this visitor!]
Hey, little guy. What're you doing in here? Mun get bored or something? [
not bitter nope]no subject
...Oh wow! These things really are as good as everyone says they are!
..Yeah, kinda. S'not like she does much with me anyways.
[He takes a few more bites before continuing with a mouth full of pokepuff.]
What kinda pokemon are you?

[He lets out an amused chuckle as he watches the little Oshawott chow down on his cooking. It always makes him smile when someone enjoys his pastries this much, especially the younger Pokémon. Dahaka will just take one of the sweet, pink Poképuffs and set it down closer to Martin; they're free, after all!]
Muns are worse than Trainers, I think. Trainers just have ya fight other Pokémon, but these mun people can make ya do anything or fight anyone! I mean, I don't want anything to do with some of the creeps my mun's got in her head...
[brb munching on citrus puff to quell anxiety.]

[Martin, that is a lie and you know it.]
I dunno....at least we're here, right? MY trainer hasn't even bothered to bring me with her on her journey to the Kalos region. Noo, she left me in the PC boxes aaall by myself. Heck, I'm supposed to be Samurott right now!
[But alas, this world works in mysterious ways.]

With her ribbons.]
It's one of the best features of Kalos, isn't it just?
what are icons
Yeah, they're great - especially these ones! Guarantee you won't find better Poképuffs than these in the whole region, y'know. Even the Trainers like 'em!
[He'll just take one of the deluxe citrus puffs and munch on it, offering another to the Sylveon. They're his favorite!]
These're my best ones; if they let Pokémon have awards for baking, I'd win an award for 'em. You like sour stuff?
they are hard work (also i always forgot fairy was good against fighting new type why)
She takes another PokePuff, happy, and is talking between bites.]
I prefer the sweet - it fits my personality, I was always told. And you?
I keep forgetting the old types more, sob...
The reason the sour ones're so good? They're my favorite! Can't beat a nice, refreshing citrus puff for a pick-me-up!
[Oh, whoops, slipping into sales-mon mode for a moment there. He just grins sheepishly, picking up one of the sweet pink puffs and holding it closer to Sylveon. It smells wonderful, like fresh Pecha berries.]
Here, this oughta be more your style. I don't like 'em much, but some people do, so I make 'em anyway.

There's been a few customers so far, but I still got stock! Here, take as many as you want, they're all free. Try the citrus ones.
[Just. Please don't grab them with your tongue. Wait, do Greninjas even do that?
brb mind wandering]no subject
[It's hard to tell for just how long the Sableye's been crouching there at the end of the table, but what matters is that he's here. In a single, darting motion, he snatches up a citrus pokepuff and starts to noisily chow down, speaking through mouthfuls of delicious baked goods.]
Not exactly my go-to snack, but I gotta take what I can get. 'Sides, this here is some top quality cooking if I do say so myself. And as a matter of fact, I do.
Where'd a big guy like you learn to bake like this I wonder? Doesn't seem like it'd come all that natural.
ahhhh your writing is so good
'Course it's top-quality! I've been doing this for ages, and I only use fresh ingredients. These here are mostly Aspear and Nomel, with a little Chesto in 'em to hide that bit of spice.
[He picks one of the sour, orange puffs up and gazes at it, gently turning it back and forth as he talks. A nervous habit, maybe.]
I learned baking from my Trainer... she's a really sweet old lady who looked after a buncha Pokémon. Even big, spiky guys like me got just as much love as the little cute ones. Then, one day... she just let us all go.
[...Dahaka just bites into the pastry, chewing slowly and trying not to think too much about things. He misses her.]
thanks! I really have to use this guy a little more often
Well, ain't that the sweetest story I ever heard. S'a real shame she just dumped you out on the street like that. Maybe a little inconsiderate there.
But hey, it's sure as sugar nothin' to beat yourself up over! You're big, you're strong, you can take care'a yourself now. Livin' free as a Braviary, my friend. Best enjoy it while it lasts.
he's awesome so far!
[Well, what's done is done. He'll just pop the rest of the puff in his mouth, chewing quietly while he gazes off into the distance.]
Anyway, we ain't gonna be free as any Flying-types while we're here. My mun's got me stuck here for whatever reason, so I'm just gonna sling snacks until she lets me go. Speaking of, y'wanna take another one?
[Even weird, faintly obnoxious Dark/Ghost types need good snacks! Dahaka was under the impression that these things ate gemstones, and sadly, that's not one of the many ingredients he's proficient with. You'll have to settle for pastries, little dude.]
no subject
[A snatches up another puff and, in lieu of actually eating it, starts to toss it back and forth between his hands.]
Well, you know what I mean. Living unattached, on the road, that there's the life for me. Besides, this whole muse gig ain't as bad as some folks make it out to be. We're bein' presented some very unique opportunities here, and not a lotta people recognize that.
