My mun and I are aware that the others, perhaps excepting Crimson Typhoon, seem to be more popular. [He has a faultless polite and intelligent manner, carefully cultivated, and he speaks calmly despite being glad to see Herc. After all, it's his job to be cool and collected.] Of course, I can't quite understand why.

[Aaaand there's that hint of Chuck's ego.]

Humanised Jaegers aren't really popular to begin with. Gipsy gets the limelight, of course.

Her appearance does seem to be more personable than mine, as well as having the benefit of being seen as female. Add those to the fact that the idea of humanised jaegers such as myself are of fringe appeal and I can understand why it is possible that I am the only human representative of Striker Eureka.

[Again, that hint of a smile.]

But I am also the only representative of the height of jaeger technology, and the only mark five in existence. I don't see it as a limitation.

I guess that's why a muse in my mun's head isn't happy by the choice of face.

My mun isn't completely pleased as well, but this is the closest that could be found to the initial idea. [Glancing up, he pulled one of his locks before his eyes.] Ideally, some of this would be silver.

[He may not have been Herc's first jaeger, but Herc was one of his first pilots. Just now, he showed it, giving Herc a look of deep respect and a nod of gratitude that was very much more him than his son.]

It is a difficult balance. The two of you are quite different, after all, so it will be something of a challenge to make certain neither of your traits overwhelm.
