Then why not meet him all the way? Humans are fragile, it's a simple manner to end your existence, if you do not enjoy the gift of it. Many have before you and many will after you... it's not difficult, and it need not be painful.

[Ah, and therein lies the sticking point. Some deep, core part of her still wants to live, and fights so harshly against what she's become that she can't ever follow through. She refuses to look at or acknowledge it.]

I guess it... takes a certain amount of courage that I don't have.

It is a strange line you straddle, child. Either decide to live, or decide to die. Neither thing is meant to be felt halfway... it's improper. There is day, and there is night. Muster your courage and make a choice.
