Heh heh. I suppose you aren't so bad... even if you're small and squishy. And flammable. I know you've been conspiring already with others. In spite of how the others dread you, I rather like your ideas. I know it must wait some time, but I am willing to be patient this time if you are.

So long as I am somewhere with kin or friendly faces I am pleased with the thought - and your current considerations have that. Maybe I'll even get to fight some people too. That should be fun.

[He bounces eagerly back and forth on his feet in a fighting stance. He'll totally rip baddies to shreds, just watch him.]

Bring it on and I'll show you. Just watch, tiny one!

Your colour scheme is rather lovely by the way, but it is rather dark. Have you ever considered sprucing it up a little with some brighter colours? I bet that would make you even more fearsome!

[He tilts his head in confusion, blinking. What's so funny? He's totally dangerous, yo!]

A Unicron? You do not seem like a Lord of the Undead.

[Darksteel looks at his forearms in confusion.]

These are the colors I always have been. They seemed to scare Autobots pretty well.

[She looks more than a little miffed. Lord of the undead indeed.]

Your armour looks like it could use a good shine too. How is anyone supposed to take a filthy enemy seriously? Now stay right here and I'll go find some soap and water.

[... oh. Ooh. Unicorn not Unicron. Okay. He plops one of his clawed hands onto the back of his neck sheepishly.]

A bath is something most ponies, and robots I hope, take when they want to not be dirty anymore. A clean person is an impressive person after all, and taking care of one's own appearance is very important.

It's nothing a big ol' warrior such as yourself can't handle, I'm sure.

Now get into the lake and I'll have you both cleaned in no time.

Oh. Shockwave never mentioned this to us. You'd think he would have, if it were so important...

[Admittedly some of his joints are feeling gunked-up... But he's never seen water before. He continues to eye it dubiously.]

It is indeed misery. I am glad you will never experience it. It was not fun, but at least Shockwave was nice to me. [He gave him lots of pets, it was nice.]

Shockwave was good to us. If not for him we would have been stuck with Starscream. [And that would have been too much to deal with.]

At least that will not be a problem for us anymore.

He was, I'm sad we haven't seen him since he sent us and Predaking to help the bot things.

[Darksteel shifts on his feet, resting his forehead on Skylynx gently.]

Is it? They do not seem so bad, so far. My mundane is listening, though there have been some strange suggestions.

[Rather dangerous is probably an understatement, given the Predacon penchant for lighting things on fire.]

Mundanes generally don't care about our lives or our well-being, and that's what makes them dangerous.

Catching your Mundane's attention is very ill-advised.

But none of us would be here if their attention had not been caught. Would we?

[He is not quite so dumb as he may seem sometimes.]

[Excuse him as he just slinks around the other Predacon, nudging up against him a bit as he rumbles softly--contently.]

[No worries, boss-mech, so long as Predaking doesn't mind the younger Predacon leaning against him a little, rumbling happily in return.]

As am I. Others believe it will not be so for long, but we'll see. [He grins and chuckles, voice low like he's got a big secret.] I think the tiny one likes me.

Skylynx and I have been conferring, my king. We think it's unfair that you are alone where you are.

[Oh he doesn't mind at all. In fact, he seems rather pleased with the response, optics dimming contently.]

I am certain you will find a steady place in your mun's mind, Darksteel. Treat them well though or you will not find yourself so lucky.

[the next words spoken have Predaking lifting his head, eyes brightening in surprise now as he rumbles.]

I would not be object to the presence of either of you in my current home. I have found many whom I can relate to and commune wih but having you both there as well...it would make things that much more complete.

[Darksteel smiles happily. He'd thought Predaking might like that news. He had been so concerned with their long-lost brethren that the younger Predacon could guess that family meant a lot.]

I know that you have been without kin for some time. Even if there are others... it is still not the same without those like you. Besides, you have been alone for some time. I cannot imagine it.

This is true. Most do not understand what it means to be brings such as us. It would be nice to have you both there with me. Nautilus is an odd place but it is good all the same. Many kind individuals reside there.

[Oh and he plans to introduce you to all of them and show you the lair Lelouch made for him and take you to Air Temple Island and all sorts of other things.

He rumbles again at the thought of it all, bumping his head against Darksteel's.]

You and Skylynx are two of the most important individuals to me. I would be honored to have you with me once more.

It would be nice to be there with you. It would be much more pleasant to arrive somewhere that a friend has been already. I've never been anywhere besides Cybertron and would prefer friendly faces.

[And knowledgable ones for that matter. He will want to see all the things so long as Predaking and Skylynx are there with him. Being alone would be way too much for Darksteel to deal with.

He churrs, nuzzling Predaking a little bit in return. You are much too kind to him sometimes.]

[The rumble that escapes Predaking this time is more of a chuckle than anything else and he practically wraps himself around the other in a rather protective manner.]

Yes, even if that should happen. And I promise you that this place is full of kind individuals. I have learned much from many of them. You and Skylynx will both enjoy it.

[Can Skylynx slink in here? Can he, can he? Well he is anyway. Slinking in on the other side of Predaking, giving a low rumble. He is pleased to see you too.]

Indeed, friendly faces would be good. Noone there is like Starscream?

[Predaking is not going to object to having Skylynx there at all. In fact, he's just going to nuzzle the other predacon as well.]

Not that I have encountered, no.

[Skylynx gives a happy rumble at the nuzzle, and he nuzzles back.]

Good. I do not like Starscream. [Who does like him?] He was mean to us all the time.

[Darksteel chirps greeting to Skylynx, nuzzling Predaking happily.]

I am glad he isn't there, or anyone like him. Though I would not have minded giving him a little extra payback, if he was there. [He'd surely deserve it.]

[Ey, look who's here, your favorite medic. Also the only one you know, but still.]

Seems like she's really going to find you a home, that's good. You are lucky, if fighting is what you like to do I'm sure you won't be disappointed no matter what she chooses.

[Hey there, medic! Excuse Darksteel while he sidles closer, laughing a little.]

Of course I do! Fighting's fun. I will just be happy to see familiar faces, though.

[Knock Out doesn't really mind, he enjoys Darksteel's company.]

Fighting's fun when you are winning, just like games. You like those too? Games, I mean.

Familiar faces are always a good thing, unless that face is Starscream.

I don't usually play games. What kind did you mean?

[Because if he means 'playing with people like a cat plays with a mouse', he definitely enjoys that.]

Hnn. If he was there I would certainly like to play a game with him.

The kind that usually ends with one of us having a great time. Depends on the players, actually.

I would enjoy watching that. In fact, it should be recorded for posterity.
