You are mistaken, mundane. I am not lonely. While it is true that I am away from everyone I know, it is a certainty that I will return.
I do not require companionship of any kind.

I also suspect that I am too... 'new' to this environment to expect mundanes to respect the fact that I have things that I must do, which do not include providing a story.

I doubt it's much of a consolation, but you do get used to this sort of thing eventually. I can guarantee it'll be a hell of a journey, and you'll meet all sorts of interesting characters along the way. Literally!

[Is that... regret?]
And yet... you seem to intimate that this will open new universes...?

Is it necessary? [There's that curiosity of his...] I see no detriment caused to my ability to function by being alone. I am... accustomed to it.

Well, it's like the song says: "love is all you need to live."
[Saaaaaaap.]
'Course, if you're happy on your own that's not a bad thing. But lovin' someone else has a way of opening up the world.

The petite woman gazes up to her automaton, that blue-lipped smile just far too darling for words.] Absolutely. Nothing could be better.

[Sigh. Observers.]

I, uh... think you're off the mark by about a mile.

That isn't a bad thing. [Or an addiction.] You just may be surprised by how wonderful love can be.

[Observers are great at understatement, aren't they?]
It is not something I wish to risk. [No matter how curious he is and no matter how much constantly watching Walter and Peter and their family has affected him. No, sir, he remembers what happened to August.] A colleague of mine was killed for it. He was... unwise.

How terrible... But not all love ends up like that.

[Whups. Discreet with what, September? Something you're not telling us?]

[Oops, she's reading your mind.]

There is a group of people whom I have been tasked with watching. They have become, perhaps, more than simply subjects of observation.
But I must be discreet with this... opinion. My people prefer objectivity.

[Not least of all because Spidey's there too, and will be sure to dish out the sass to everyone in equal amounts.]
That's why I apped him there. Muah ha ha.
... Where?
Awesome, he can join Looma in camp What The Hell Am I Doing Here
I'm just more of a nicknames kind of guy. Spider's gotta have a hobby besides crime fighting, especially when it's as dull as it is in the city.
XD Sounds fun.
[thinkyface...kinda.]
I would have thought that most people would prefer uneventful surroundings.
[Poor naive September, thinking the folks he watches are the minority....]
