Relapsing? That's what this is called. Taking on an alternate persona because you just can't deal with your own tiny, mortal little life and your inability to take initiative.

So instead you check every single box in the needy human handbook. Cry for attention. Preemptive ironic self-defense. Reversion to previous behavioral patterns that promised short-term biochemical reward.

Dopamine, of course. Oxytocin. You prefer your hits legal but oh-so-self-pityingly passive.

One day, you might learn to shut up. For good.
