Mun is nervous, Rodimus is homeless
Hey, hey. Don't get all misty-opticed about what my old drill instructor said about me. I guess I just really impressed him. Though it doesn't hurt that most of it was true.
And c'mon, quit worrying so much. You're gonna do fine with me. We're going to be a fantastic team, I can already tell. Though you might want to try re-reading some of those other comics. Just to get some ideas.
Like those Rodimus Stars. That's a great idea.
Then again, this username is pretty awful. Did you really have to mention that? I can't believe you couldn't think of something better. But I guess 'totallyawesome' and 'chosenone' were taken already.
You're not getting a Rodimus Star anyway.

Rodimus stars?
[That's the stupidest thing she's ever heard.]
no subject
[Grin grin grin.]
Pretty clever, huh?
no subject
...Sir.]
It's... something alright. I've met another, er, you before, and it wouldn't surprise me if he was the one who uses these.
no subject
[You wouldn't do that to someone so awesome, would you?
... Yeah no he knows you would. But it would be totally worth it.]
Seriously? Wow. I ought to thank him or something. What's he like, anyway?
no subject
[Oh... that's an interesting question. The answer isn't really all that simple.]
He was an egoistical and irresponsible moron with absolutely no sense whatsoever. I've only known him for a short while, but he has given me nothing but trouble. The only upside to him is that I don't have to deal with him anymore.
no subject
Soooooo...
Nothing like me.
no subject
So no, he's nothing like you.
[Compliment? Maybe.]
...
Well, there are similarities, I suppose I can't ignore that.
no subject
Made you say something nice about me~
[Hey, if he can't get 'No, you are WAY more handsome', he'll take being useful and good at his job.]
The similarities are that he's red and gold too, right?
I'm still more awesome, though.
no subject
[Getting Red Alert to admit that she finds anyone attractive would be a very difficult task.]
You're more burgundy than red I think.
no subject
[Someday. Someday Rodimus is going to manage it. Hopefully before he gets as old as Ultra Magnus.]
See? Nothing alike, still.
no subject
I can live without one, thank you.
[She might consider it if he ever decides to grow up at all.]
You've also never set me on fire.
Not yet anyway.
no subject
No, no, I insist. You've earned it.
[Are you kidding, he's totally grown up. Just look at him!]
He set you on fire? Really?
... Was it on purpose?
no subject
Yes, Prime.
He set me on fire on purpose. He even asked me nicely if it was okay.
I'm sure it's what you'd have done.
no subject
... except for cosmic rust. That's kind of hard to fight.]
Psssh, of course I'd ask first. It would be so rude to light a teammate on fire without asking them.
[He seems serious about that.]
I just can't think of a good reason to light you on fire. Like. Ever.
no subject
[Red Alert sighs warily and runs her good hand down the side of her face. Why is she surrounded by idiots like this.]
Right.
I'll remember that the next time Hot Shot decides to throw his flames around.
no subject
Well. Fire is kind of his thing. Can't stop a bot from doing his thing, y'know?
But maybe he should get a little target practice in. And aim away from his squad.
no subject
What he needs is an exercise on common sense and restraint.
If you would discipline him some more...
no subject
He's just gotta grow up a little, that's all. He'll get it eventually.
Then again, if he's not listening you you every time he manages to light himself on fire...
no subject
It'd benefit us all if he learned how to control himself before he melts his entire squad into scrapmetal.
no subject
But fine, fine, I'll take him out for target practice. Heh, he'll probably love it.
no subject
[Weren't you listening to her at all?]
Fine, if you think that'll help.
Just keep him away from anything important. Bring Ironhide too, just because.
no subject
[You don't go from zero to 'jumping on a grenade' with just discipline you know.]
Yeah, sure. We'll make a day of it, it'll be great. Hopefully no one will end up in the medbay.
no subject
Tell you what, if you can get through the entire exercise without someone ending up in the medbay, then I'll reconsider attending that... social event with you.
[She totally forgets what it was called, dammit.]
no subject
[But oh, Red Alert. You just perked him right up. He straightens slightly.]
You mean it? Really? [Has he ever grinned quite this widely? Probably not.] It's a deal! Consider it done. Totally done.
no subject
You still need to get through it without any serious burns.
no subject
Besides, too impressive a name could scare away those who are unsure of themselves.
no subject
[It wasn't exactly his crowning moment.]
Now I don't know about that. I haven't scared on anyone before.
no subject
[She looked interested, but not entirely invested in that aspect of the conversation.]
Are you so sure? What if there are those you haven't noticed who have been overawed at you?
no subject
[Have a tiny organic child looking up at you.]
And don't worry. My "user name" is silly too.
