At least you didn't make me a weakling that's dependent on a trainer...

Too bad trainers want strong pokemon or ones to pamper... I'm no pampered pet. [She hisses a bit] And I have had quite enough of the other type of trainer.

Not everyone who trains Pokemon for battle is abusive. Heck, Ash pretty much turned training abandoned Pokemon into solid battlers into an artform.

If you're going to copy someone, you'll likely have better luck with someone not missing a leg.

You know, having a trainer doesn't by default mean you're weak. Nor even dependent. If anything, in my experience, I've found more trainers to be dependent on their Pokémon than the reverse.

That's not a trainer. That's a waste of space who ought to get his teeth kicked in for being so cruel. There's no excuse for something like that. None. But not all folk who train Pokémon are the same way.

Having a trainer doesn't make you weak, hun. If you've got a good one it's ... it's a really mutual thing. You make each other stronger, in more ways than one.

You either fight, or get picked up and treated like a mewling newborn... Nobody will battle with a cripple and I'm no helpless kit. [Bitter much?] I'll take my chances in the forests.
