It's funny how little a change in location actually... changes.

It's still Anatole, and still... well. Full of problems. Mist and rampaging Deadmen... which, by the way, I don't know if I appreciate. I mean, I know I don't appreciate it. But!

From that perspective... you could almost say the past week and a half was a little bit of a respite. And now things are getting back to normal, and... that's comforting, in a strange kind of way.

Or maybe I'm just. Odd. It's hard to tell!

I never had the pleasure of running into an elf when I was living in the Mist. What are they like?

Hungry, mostly. But with magic! And a side of bloody-eyed mist crazy. A-and darts of suck. When they hit you? All your powers: dunzo. Like, bam. No powers. And if you don't have powers? Well, I guess it's less of a shock, but...

...there's still the wobbly and a woozy, and the bitey. Also? They don't negotiate well.
