I know he isn't. In fact, I believe he's what Gotham needs as a sort of hero to look upon. Some call him the Dark Knight. Then others call me the White Knight. I believe working alongside him is the only way that we can help restore balance in the city. People view him as a vigilante but I know he's trying to help. Jim Gordon knows more than anyone else.

I always say that things will get worse before they can get better. Things are always darkest before the dawn. Yet, that day will come. A new dawn will rise over Gotham and the people will be better off for it. [Ok, so that was some of his speech. So what? He means it.]
