I was under the impression that I gave her strength and the ultimate shield when I gave her the black blood; and isn't that a mother's dream come true? By the way, you and Soul seem to make use of that same instrument on occasion, don't think I haven't noticed! Comes in quite handy, now doesn't it?

You have no right bringing Soul into this. And you were no mother to her! Chrona had never felt love until she met me- not even any sort of friendship. You may have made her strong, but you used her.

What an amusing child you are! The bond between a mother and child is the closest bond two beings can share. It cannot be replicated, cannot be described. I may have done terrible things to Chrona, and I do not disagree that I manipulated her - but I maintain that it was all for her own good.

Get one thing perfectly clear, girl: I love Chrona.

[No matter how old Maka is, Medusa will always refer to her as a 'child' - it's what happens when you're insulting someone, or when you've lived for 800+ years.]

((ooc: Yeah, I made sure to catch up on the manga [I was SOOO far behind when I picked up Medusa...] so that I could play both versions. I'm torn because I prefer the look of blonde Medusa but loooove the manga storyline so much better than the anime!! But a timeskip Maka sounds pretty cool so I'm all for it!))
