Really, it's not at all surprising that Sherlock would think of that whole "transference" thing. It's Sherlock. This is far from the first time he's tried to use sex talk to get a rise out of me. That's all he was doing. And clearly, no one had sex with anyone, and he owes me on that bet.

Sherlock was convinced that I was attracted to his brother, and wanted to sleep with him because the person I really wanted to sleep with? Is Sherlock. So obviously I was transferring my desire for Sherlock onto a "lesser" version.

I had no opinion on the matter. It made more sense that Mycroft wanted to get to know me because I was Sherlock's friend than he wanted to seduce me. And I was right.
