My own castle holds "Holy" relics that have no effect on me. It is not some divine agent that gives these symbols power, but rather the faith of the user that empowers them.

Even a simple pebble, with the right faith could fell a giant.

I have had experience with extraordinary humans before. Humans - despite how out of the norm they are - are ultimately still just humans.
