Okay, so a new Jimmy Buffett album, reading the series' TV Tropes page, and you want to toss me back into the ring?

Guess I've heard worse motivations.

Not that I don't like that alternate universe, even with the survivor's guilt thing. But you ought to figure out whether you're keeping the Econtra stuff - and how much of it. Let's face it, that game was over before Days even came out, and you wrote me a lot nicer than I am.

Not that I'm alone in that. You seem to have trouble with playing jerks. But your writing's different now in general. You tossed in a lot of unnecessary stuff back there.

Still not going to complain if I get another outing, though. Got nothing to do but sit here in your head and play music. You know when you get a song stuck in your head? Yeah. [And there's a rather nasty little grin.]

P.S. Okay, so yeah, you pegged some of that stuff from the latest game long before it came out. Good for you. It's kind of the "throw it at the wall and see what sticks" thing, though.

P.P.S. Wait, I'm expected to save the city you're sending me to? Are you ever sending the wrong guy for that job...

Man, these alternate universes can be a headache to work out, huh? That's probably the only reason I'm not already over in that city, actually...

And I don't know. Perhaps someone'll write out the 'good guy' cue cards for you in time.

Nah, I think we've got the alternate universe part down. It's the game history part he's having issues with.

I don't think we actually get those. Nobody seems to want to write me a script, anyway.

Something called a 'PSL', from what I've heard... But the short version is that I've been living in a world a lot like the one where that city is that you're talking about.

Oh, okay, one of those. I was going to be in one for a while, but my mun's opposite number kind of dropped the idea.

You mean just an Earth-type world? Or one full of demons and things you summon out of your head?

The deal is, these things are supposed to be a representation of the strength of your heart, right? It's been interesting working that out...
