[ what do you get when you put together janos quested and a home search? answer: a very displeased janos quested who doesn't want to be put in one of these homes. he's happy with the brotherhood, thank you very much. all he can seem to do right now is sigh and mutter one word. ]

Don't like any of the choices?

[ Raven is a combination of tentative and comfortable, a jarring juxtaposition. She knows Janos, has spent a few months with the Brotherhood, but doesn't know what he knows about her. ]

[ janos knows next to nothing, minus her previous association with the x-men and the mutant ability she held - of which, he can admit, he found to be amazing. other than that, he's kind of uncomfortable, mostly because he doesn't know, about loyalties or ticks or what could set her off— ]

I picked where I went. Erik was locked in a prison, and I went there to see if I could get him out.

My mundane doesn't seem to want to give me the choice. [ insert a long, melodramatic sigh. ] Is he able to keep himself out of trouble?

Erik? Of course not.

[ A tentative smile. ]

There are others there too, though. Charles - my brother, the telepath? Alex - um, energy blasts. And others, from the future or from other universes. I've learned more than I thought possible, when I went.

Future? That must be interesting, if they're willing to tell of what has happened - well, will happen. I just hope that you and your former team mates aren't at odds because of you joining Erik instead of them.

Something about demigods, and.. Rekindling? Terrible. Contact with other people, otherwise you get ill — why she would want to put me there..

We are at odds and we aren't. I mean: we fight. But we're all mutants.

Mutants or not, views differ, and that causes conflict.

I know, I'm not trying to make you come here, especially if it's not what you want. Especially, I guess, if your mun doesn't want to. I just miss... belonging, like that.

Perhaps we'll see what happens. I've yet to gain a.. "home", and options are running out. You'll have your belonging, whether it's with the Brotherhood, Xavier's crew or otherwise. No doubt about it. You have an affinity for fitting in, no matter where you go, I've found.
