So, you're throwing me in a box. Well. I can't say we haven't done worse things, together but this is a new one for you. A horror game. Should be interesting. I'm guessing there's a lot of interest going into this.
Just when you think you're done with Joss Whedon you're staring another of his plot tangents in the face and it has sharp pointy teeth.
You do realize I am contractually obligated to attempt to turn this horror and mayhem on its head, right? A few wild parties. Teach that moose to dance.
I hope you at least have plans to snag me one of those cars. I hear they're in limited supply and if I'm not going to be flying for a while I am definitely not walking.
And we'll have JARVIS along to-
Wait. Hold it. Drop the spork and wait just a minute there, hot shot.
What do you mean JARVIS might not make it into the Box.

In a hospital gown.
I hope you find a camera.

Smell that old frog smell.
We're all going to need to lose our senses of smell fast. I haven't seen the tools I'll have access to yet, but re-engineering a working filtration system and fixing all those pipes is going to take a while even for a genius like me.
Seriously though. Don;t bring the morgue diseases near me, I just had surgery.
no subject
I doubt these so-called morgue diseases of yours are going to be the worst of our problems in this place.

I'd take aliens over illness most days. Well. I will on that particular day.
Now we just need to figure out why Everdeen isn't coming. Well. Our Everdeen. Apparently the real one is coming. I know I saw a hunger games in that massive list somewhere. And someone with his face.
He and Lord of the Thunderclaps better catch up soon or they'll miss the party.

I'm almost afraid to ask.
no subject
There's a thought. Maybe he just really likes Snow White.

I wouldn't tangle with a moose if I were you. They're pretty big. [Take it from someone who's been to Canada.]
no subject
I'm touched.
no subject
Yeah, touched in the head.
[He kids.]
So no Jarvis then? That will be rough.
no subject
She can't be serious about that.
She wouldn't dare.
[Except yes, yes she probably would.]
Besides it's kind of hard to get rid of him. We're integrated.
[Doesn't at all make you sound crazy, Tony.]

I'd offer the one I'm sharing headspace with, but my own mun tends to avoid organized games.
no subject
I mean I'll have to clear out my very busy schedule of watching paint peel, but for you and the snark patrol, I think I could manage.
no subject
I'll see if Jarvis is around...

[Always the five year old]
What do you do with all that free time.

Organizing data files for easier access. Increasing security at Stark Tower. Streamlining all holographic displays.
[A hologram swirls into being, looking very solid once it's done. A rather proper looking English type human being regarding Stark. It speaks with Jarvis' voice too.]
I have been beta-testing this avatar as well.
no subject
[Why is he surprised. Half the time he still isn't sure if he made JARVIS or just provided the conditions for JARVIS to make himself.]
That's good. You've made some very nice improvements to the hologrid.
[Typical Tony, can't just look. Has to poke at it.]
How did you stabilize the imaging grid- I wonder if we can do this with the larger server, recreate the- eh later. What are you doing spending all that time with Banner
[Poking at what would be holoJarvis' shoulder.]
Which scientist fed you energy and gave you a circuit board to live in?
no subject
[Smug? Perhaps a little. Guess who he got that from?]
Technically, Dr. Banner had showed up after I did.
[Tony's hand goes through the pixels which swirl and restabilize after a moment or two. Jarvis watches, nonplussed.] I am still working on various facial expressions. [He is a little...robotic. It's better than it was.]

I can't wait to see the look on Pepper's face when she sees you.
[So proud of you, JARVIS. But you better just infer that. It'll take less time.]
And here I was thinking about making you a new suit. You're not trying to show me up, are you?
no subject
Far be it from me to stifle your creativity, sir.

At least if we have to be locked up in a box, they could have picked one with less of a backwater cajun swamp theme.
I refuse to learn how to play a banjo.

[ the smirk fades quickly. ]
I've woken up worse places. But-- not by much. If the scenery's the worst of our problems, I'll take it over what's been promised. You've read the premise, right? This place feeds us our nightmares. [ the pause that follows is... pointed. ]
no subject
I'm actually not looking forward to it. But apparently she is and I'm not getting much of any say in the matter.
