On my being an anxious worrywart
So... you're worried that you're going to miss setting up the DVR because it only goes out twelve days in the future, and the show starts thirteen days from now.
Right.
You know there's this thing called a 'day planner', that you can use to plan things. If you're that worried about forgetting.

[Coulson. In the flesh, or so it seems.]
My mun actually arranged her work schedule so they don't miss it.
no subject
Mine hasn't gone that far, but she might if she drives herself into a panic about not being able to set up the recorder.
no subject
You're looking....well.
no subject
Thank you.

[faint smile] I would be lying if I said I didn't want to see Stark's face when he sees you again.
no subject
[Aaaand that's actually a smile.] Well that makes two of us.
no subject
I'll keep it under my hat. [Because Bruce is betting knowing that Coulson is alive is way over his security clearance.]
no subject
[because really, not as high above his clearance level as he might think.]
no subject
Thanks.
[a beat]
If no one said it already, nice shot on Loki. [Both Bruce and Hulk approved of that hit.]

no subject
Hulk made sure Loki made an impression on Stark's wooden floors too.
no subject
[And he'd seen the security footage. He probably even cracked a smile at the security footage. Probably more because of the damage to the floor than to the Asgardian.]
no subject
I offered to help fix it...Tony said he was thinking of keeping it.
no subject
Sounds like him. I also heard there's a lot more construction going on at the Tower.

Probably one of the many reasons why Cap and him don't get along well.
[Bruce knew how unbalanced they were as a team. But somehow, a common enemy, it worked.]
no subject
[A common enemy, a catalyst, sometimes that was all that was needed.]

Seriously? Wow. Okay, what about her computer? She has to have one if you're here, right?
Didn't mean anything by the 'Wow' by the way, just surprised.
no subject
And she's now set up gmail calendar reminders for herself every two days, which I think is overkill, and that's from a guy whose backup plans have contingency plans.
no subject
So you're a planner then? I tend to stick to simple plans myself. Like walk in the front door and hit the first bad guy or monster who gives me grief.
no subject
Ah yes, sometimes the simple plans are best, but not always. And that seems to be something they have in common, as she's often explained that her memory is a 'water-go, pasta-stay'.
no subject
I'm Yang Xiao Long by the way.
no subject
Phil Coulson, agent of SHIELD. Barton's our simple-plan guy, but he at least knows how to stick to the more complicated ones when he has to.

Probably memes, mostly, maybe the occasional PSL, she's not big on games as a whole.
no subject
no subject
Exactly, and keeps her from stressing more than she already does about deadlines and activity checks and the like.
no subject
[ Unlucky, as far as numbers go. Still; it's worth a small smile. ]
Good luck.
no subject
Even with the email reminder for Saturday.
no subject
no subject
[Which is about as close to a 'let's go' as she's going to get.]
no subject
There was a service held for you. Were you there?
no subject
I missed it, I was still recuperating.
no subject
[ Her hand lifts to link through the crook of his arm, fingers resting just above his elbow. ]
Some people took it harder than others.
no subject
[Definitely a tease, because he knows Tony's good people, just not good at showing it.]
