On the new Mega Evolutions! [Pokemon XY spoilers]

Oh, of course I want to learn more about the Kalos region, and when the time comes, I'll definitely try to take some time off to go see it in person-- just think of all the wonderful myths and legends they have over there!

But I have to admit, I'm also very interested in finding out more about those new stones behind Mega Evolutions! I know Lucario would love to try it out, and don't you think Garchomp looks absolutely lovely?

Of course I am! I might be running on a tight schedule, but if there's a way to make your Pokemon even stronger, then it's surely worth the sacrifice, don't you think?

Hmmm, I wouldn't call it starting over, just... making adjustments! Not too long ago, Dark and Steel types weren't really known outside of very restricted academic circles, but once there was enough new information about them, Trainers everywhere had to adapt to the change, too!

Ah... that's true. I guess it's different for me because those two exist since I remember! So it's like, my first time... [She suddenly giggles a bit.] My mun says we're making her feel old.

[This one will be giggling, too. She was a wee bit trainer when they made the discovery, but she does remember it, yes.]

That only means she has had many interesting experiences to share. As for you, I'm sure you'll get the hang of it very soon and make Professor Juniper proud!

There's nothing much to tell just yet, but I do think it will be a wonderful opportunity to broaden horizons and think up new battle strategies. I'm sure Garchomp and I will have a lot of fun coming up with ways to counter that new type disadvantage.

I thought that might be the case, but to be honest, not many other Trainers seem to be on our side, either... [There's obviously something very wrong with the lot of them. Not Cynthia or Dawn, nope, they are perfectly sensible people.]

Oh, no, they're not sadness at all-- much on the contrary! Love is a wonderful feeling, something that makes you always want to be near the person on the receiving end of your affections, because their very presence makes you happy. And 'lovely' is... well, what we call someone or something that inspires love, I suppose.

I don't think these "Mega Evolutions" oughta be treated like accessorizing. But that's just me....

I don't think they should be treated as accessorizing, either. [wow agreeing with Team Galactic, THIS IS NEW.]

But from what little we know, those Mega Evolutions seem to be yet another way to build a Pokemon's strength-- the ultimate display of their potential! I think that should be something all Trainers find interesting.

I'm interested, but I just can't help but wonder why it's popped up now. It kinda has that science nerd for Team Plasma written all over it.

Colress, you mean? I considered that, too, and while I can't say I approve of his methods, well... These Mega Evolutions seem to be pretty harmless so far. So I'd say something good came out of it.

Though I'm personally not a trainer, I'm kinda disappointed that Blastoise got the short end of the stick with its Mega Evolution. According to my sources, its new ability only boosts Dark Pulse and Water Pulse, which is a damn shame considering that massive cannon on its back.

I wouldn't be quite so disappointed just yet. Mega Evolutions are still very, very new, and they haven't even properly come into play, either, so there might be something else in store for Blastoise!

I hope so. Squirtle was my first starter, it'd suck if it got the short end of the stick like that.
