Really? You could have picked the hood guy, or the security guy, or one of the very many attractive and potentially dangerous ladies around me, and instead you pick the one guy with no fighting ability. Are you sure you're thinking straight?
You'd better not put me anywhere dangerous, that's all I'm saying.
Thanks for sticking with the basics when it comes to journals, though - I've seen what some of the other... people-shaped things up here got stuck with. You have a nasty sense of humour, you know.

Tommy.........Q.Q

My mun likes to think she's hilarious.
I know =(
So... Roy, was it? Thea's... friend. Have you met her brother? Tall, twitchy, violently protective?
*just going to hug here*////and say viciously in denial.
[he shrugged in annoyed manner]
Guys kinda tight up around the edges...guess five years on an island will do that to you.
I will return the hug and also be in denial.
He's also not the only person you'll need to worry about if you hurt Thea.
[Yeah, sure, he can't do threatening as well as Ollie, and his ability to back it up might be questionable, but you don't mess with Thea on Tommy's watch either.]
denial is a fun place to be...
Right. Not planning on it but...I'll keep that noted anyway.
[and keeping his 'tone' out of that comment had been harder than not rolling his eyes- so it might have leaked a bit. Quickly, and in order to cover up-]
Besides I'm more worried I'll die trying to keep her from doing something stupid. She seems overly prone to following me on my own not-exactly-safe jobs, either to help me or keep me from it. That on top of her own ideas.
I thought I was stubborn.
[beat]
Wait so he was this pricklie before the island? Dude, seriously? I used to hear and read stories about what an aloof party guy he was..
It is
You have a point, unfortunately. Just try and keep her out of trouble, then.
[Ah, memories. He misses those days, sometimes. Like the time they rented a bar for 36 hours and only let girls in the front door... Laurel definitely would not have approved.]
I'm pretty sure you didn't even read the worst stories, thanks to... my dad, and Mrs Queen. Ollie was still pretty protective of Thea back then. Just less physically imposing to go with it.

[he said with a slight huff. Progress in that department had been rather slow.]
She seems to know how to hold her own just fine without him.

[Hahahaha. Cope. Sure.]

[Roy shrugged]
Call my crass, but I think I know traumatic rebellion when I see it.
no subject
[It's not like Tommy was there to watch it happen or anything. Or utterly fail with knowing how to deal with it, oops.]

[defensive- his boss was weird......well sorta boss. He never really did show up for work...ever. oops. He held back the next comment which was more along the lines of- her rebellious stubborn nature made her ten times more attractive in favor of another more...suitable-]
We have more in common that way, makes it simpler.

[He's... a little sorry, but not that much. Don't take it personally. He's just messed up his own relationship, after all, and other people's are a bit of a slap in the face.]
Yeah, I guess it would help to have things in common.

No sweat man, I get it.
