Good evening!

You're bored? Why don't you watch that cool show again, the one with the ancient lost city in Peru? That really was something! With those foreboding light anomalies, rocks weighing tonnes transported to the top of an unforgivably steep slope, a ghostly bell tower that supposedly still rings at night, those mist wreathed mountains--what I wouldn't give to be a member of that show's team!

Or just visit, I guess. But I'd do it in a group, of course! You'd need companions you trust to make it up there and back in one piece on an expedition like that. It seems dangerous, to be sure, but I think it'd be worth it. [smiling]

But if you're still bored, could you perhaps call your sister? Or do a bit of homework? Take a walk, if the weather isn't too stifling?

That is true, but, unfortunately,, not everyone can handle as much stimulation as you can.

[ That is rare, him admitting something like that, but it seems like he means it. ]

[pauses for a moment, contemplating; he appreciates the candidness, but then he doesn't quite agree with it, either] ...I think Christopher admires your vibrant strength, too.

You were the one with whom I always remember fighting. I don't remember Christopher teasing me at all, either.

[ ... Oh. Well there's that, he supposes. He glances away for a brief moment, not quite sure how to take it at first. ]

I guess. You'd still be a pain no matter what though.

[ His voice is teasing, because that's how you deal with things, right? ]

[again, feeling like something is being dismissed, but he always has been the sensitive one, so he's bothered by something that is raw.]

That just means we're a family, then? Squabbling, annoying each other, making each other cry--that's just something that they do. It's part of being close, I've learnt.

...Maybe you're so bad because you're closer to me? In age, and you were there for me then.

[ He laughs a little at that, reaching out to rest his hand on the other's head and pulling him a little closer in what could possibly be a bit of a hug, but not quite. ]

Yeah, back then, I- Mn. I wasn't going to let anything happen to you. Even now, I'm not going to let anyone fuck with you, you know that. Only I'm allowed to do that.

[But, given the chance for contact, he's totally going to push forward and turn it into a hug that may or may not border on an embrace.]

It's not like you have anything better to do with your time, is it?

[ Honestly, he expects it, and he lets himself roll with it for a bit. Giving in every once in a while can't be a bad thing, after all. ]

No, it's not like I have all of these other people begging for attention from me at all, of course not.

[ And maybe that's a genuine smile showing up there. Possibly. ]

Though you realize you just signed yourself away to being stuck with me for good, right?

[Eventually he does let go, though it is kind of hard, losing that warmth. But he also doesn't want to be too annoying.

But, of course, he is smiling too, and it's one of those infectious, younger sibling smiles.]

Hehe, I guess it just needed to be formalised? Becuase I figure you're the one stuck with me, even if you think I'm a pest. And I want to protect you, too!

[ Oh no, don't say things he doesn't expect, like vows of protection. That's not fair at all. ]

I don't think you're a pest all of the time. I know of worse, anyway.

[He notes the evasion, will bring it up in a bit.]

Just sometimes, right? Who's worse--those fans of yours? They would like your time and attention too, you know. They certainly deserve it from time to time.

You have no idea how demanding they can be. They keep wanting things that I sure as hell am not going to give them. But they'll get my attention if they behave themselves.

But they all seem so nice and supportive! And you're the one who gladly offers his fanservice. It seem nice. Not every celebrity is as cool as my brother.

[ Gosh, we all know what his fans really want from him, but either way, the compliment gets him to puff up a bit proudly, despite not believing it wholeheartedly. ]

You're right. I'm smart, talented and good-looking. No one else can beat that. Not to mention I actually put myself out there, unlike someone else we know that stays behind the scenes.
