My mun has the same problem with some of the other muses they've acquired over time. Managing time and attention between us all has never been really easy. If anything it seems to be decided with whoever is "loudest" or who has more cause to be "out".
My mun has only a small handful compared to what seems like most but that doesn't mean an equal distribution of time or attention is forthcoming.
Honestly? I know how lucky I am that they've stuck with me as long as they have. There were plenty of times when getting playing in for any of us was more than difficult.
Life is tough, but if they aren't willing put in the effort, they shouldn't start something in the first place. I would rather not have been dragged out and about if they're only going to drop me like so many hot bricks.
I [and the mun] completely agree with that sentiment. It took them a while to get used to my "voice" but they stuck to it. Put in the effort and took the time.
How long did that take? Not just starting out, but also laying out the groundwork and actually establishing a history. A balanced history - it's easy to overdo it and then there's a ton of revamping.
In my case? It's still an ongoing process in some instances (my mun is fond of "alternate universes") but in establishing my personal history? That actually took months to finally decide on/build up to in a realistic form of development.
My mun started with me officially in August of 2010. It's now February 2012.
Rome - and apparently muses - were not built in a day.
That will be... well months of indecision and agonizing over details, I see that already. And since my mun doesn't want to play anything much until they've established something solid, that's where they'll likely forget about me.
Hmm, wonder if I could make a bell system up there, just ring once every couple to days as a reminder.
My mun has a very persistent sort of nature; once they decide to stick with something, there isn't much that can dissuade them. I do think I've lucked out in that regard.
But maybe, until you can find the foundation you're looking for, would having someone to "thread" with help?
They'll want to keep threads casual. Or work forwards on them, not back. It's like they intend to start doing some, no offense, creepy amalgamation of what you and Eames would normally do: journal stalk other players to see how they see me, then go and do something different.
And while I can say that - outside of "tagging around" wherever you can - journal stalking other players can help you find your own footing, don't put too much investment in doing so. In the end, what works best for you both will ultimately have to be of your own creation.
(Corny and probably stating the obvious, but true.)
They'll know when they've found the right starting point. It's like building - the cornerstone will keep everything else standing. But thanks, for the advice.

And it's not like there's a return policy on these sort of things.

What exactly is the problem? Are they not interested anymore or ?

They've got other muses that have been developed more, and well. It's a trade-off between use, and energy expenditure.

Of course, they haven't been playing much regardless of who's been speaking up.

And, from our experience, it's been worth it.

So late. Apologies.

It's okay. No worries. ^^
