I'd say this is pretty unusual. One minute I'm kicking around the old distillery, the next I'm... wherever you said this place is. Where'd you say, again?
None of my business. Right.
Don't get me wrong, I'm flattered by all of this attention, but don't you got other things you should be doing? If you're as busy as you say you are, you oughtta get to work. Time waits for no man. Or woman. Whatever it is they say.
Besides, you don't need to worry about me; I ain't a difficult customer. I can keep myself plenty entertained. Might even turn a quick profit, I find the way in. And don't I always?
I've got a knack for survival, after all.

Find it— hard to argue.

Mickey just smiles.] What can I say? I'm very persuasive, ehhheh.
You don't do so bad, yourself.
((ooc: sorry for the multi-edits, erk.))

Suppose.
[ Another pause. ]
Going somewhere?
[ ooc | don't worry about it! i'm just delighted to see a mickey around. ]

[He may be used to dealing with short fuses and inscrutable fronts, but Mickey has a hard time figuring out Harrow. And after their last encounter, he has a hard time keeping his nerves quiet. The guy's a freak, and Mickey can't tell whether he even thinks like a normal person, or what the hell it is goes on in his head.]
I mean, I don't got any plans yet, but I only just got here. I'll find something to do with myself.
((merci! and am happy to find so many boardwalk folks hanging about. and aw, richard. :D i apologize for mickey's attitude, though you know mickey never will, stubborn little shit that he is.))

You're not— nervous?
[ By and large a useless sort of question — men in their line of work get used to life-endangering situations if not necessarily Lovecraftian horrors or anything of the sort — but he seems to take it as some sort of conversational meter. ]
[ ooc | and that's exactly why we love him. c: ]

[More like he just doesn't think about the future any further than he can see it. So long as he has control of the immediate situation, everything seems secure enough, and every threat can be dealt with. It's focusing on the unknown - Richard Harrow included - that scares the shit out of Mickey, and he'd just as soon leave it be.
And, all right, he'll ask a question. Curiosity killed the cat, but what cat could resist poking around?]
What about you? You look like you been doin' all right. I mean, you're still in one, eh... the pieces you were in last time we saw each other.

Who the fuck let yous in here?
no subject
I thought this was a free country. Or, ahh, whatever you wanna call this place.
no subject
Ain't seen yous round here before. Nucky let yous outta that fucking warehouse for once?
no subject
Nucky ain't got nothin' to do with it. I'm just looking around. You want to run an operation, you gotta keep your ears open. You know what I mean. [A smile, playing nice because that's what you do - or it's what Mickey does. Or usually tries to do.]
Thought I'd explore some new territory.

[Not that Charlie's bitter. That would be ridiculous.]
