I'm not being a big baby. I just have the feeling that you're up to something. And in case you haven't noticed, every time I go somewhere, something awful happens. Join a caravan? Stranded in Utah. Check out a movie? Brain gets stolen. Follow a radio signal? Kidnapped.

So if it's all the same to you, I'll be staying right here where it's safe.

You would be surprised how uncreative these places tend to be. Perfect example: the city I'm at right now. It's a really old city. With a mysterious fog that has a lot of nasty bad effects. And the people who've been there a while? Have been treating it like a place where they can begin again.

You just can't make this stuff up.

Ugh. That sounds like the Sierra Madre. I think we can both safely say how terrible that place was. Nobody's been telling you to "let go", have they?

Nope. It's just a policy that the other outsiders have developed. The worst thing is, I'm not sure I can argue with them on that point.

Oh, and then there's another place I've visited -- it's a school. Like, Pre-War style school. When the PA turned on, I half-expected to hear Borous. Well. I would've, anyway, if I'd met him by the time I got stuck there.

Well... I guess sometimes, you need a fresh start. Gotta put the past behind you and keep following the road. Wherever it leads. [Even the Divide.]

That second one actually doesn't sound so bad. I mean, there's always something interesting to scrounge up in the old Pre-War schools back home. Maybe one that's still standing would have even more stuff in it.
