Not to cast aspersions on anyone's character, but the moderator's decorative choices aren't the most welcoming, you must admit.

I'm rather fond of it, myself. It's nice to have some dashing good looks now and then. Though I am told we do get even prettier. Sounds ridiculous to me.

Really? A strange thought. What could be on our mind, I wonder, that pretty is the result? Sometimes I wish we'd paid a little more attention during those lectures on regeneration after all.

Still, we've never exactly been wholly in control of our regeneration. Not consciously, at least. Never have found out why it's easier for other Time Lords than it is for us.

And, well, it isn't as if we usually have the time to think about these things. Unlike most Time Lords, we usually die through fairly sudden accident.

And, no, I try to avoid that planet if I can help it. Besides, whenever I go there, they need my help for something. No time for research.

Is that so? Sudden and violent deaths, there's something to look forward to.

They're not still yanking us back home to solve their problems for them by your time, are they?

And...yes. [siiiigh] Usually something to do with the Daleks. Now I even have Time Lords appearing in my TARDIS out of the blue and giving me missions to go on!

It's frustrating, but of course I always end up doing what they ask because my curiosity always gets the better of me.

We managed natural causes the first time, if you recall. Of course, most of that body's time we used up on Gallifrey living a...hm, a normal life was never exactly the right phrase for us, but it was a great deal less eventful.

Well, they do have the most interesting problems, I can't deny that.

Exactly. The only way we're going to ever die of old age again is if we decide to go home and wait for old age to take each body. I'd rather not, frankly. And even if you had the choice to go home, I doubt you would either.

Interesting problems are always the best problems to have. I just wish the Time Lords would give me some warning, rather than just popping in on me unannounced. Especially when they love doing it at the worst possible time.

K-9 being helpful in trying to weedle information out of Romana is even less likely, but you can try, I suppose. Unfortunately with his robotic, literal mind, he'll just give the game away.
