On attempting to find a game...

What's this "attempting", Ms. Mun? Who wouldn't want lil ol' me in their game, hm? Clearly you just ain't looking hard enough.

Not that I blame you any, mind. I know you've been canon reviewing and you're certainly not going to hear me complaining about the many... many wonderful shots of Jason Stackhouse's, erm, "assets".

[... Now this is an interesting situation, and there's aren't many that have the distinction of him finding them so, after all these long years.]

[Regardless of whether or not water is under the bridge, it has a curious tendency to cause drownings. Humans and their turns of phrase.]

I don't believe in holding grudges, Mr. Newlin.

[He inclines his head in a brief nod of acknowledgement.]

You are one of us, now. How did it happen?

[It does fit the Authority's methods. A prominent human, once a self-professed spiritual leader in the war against vampire kind-- turning him would have been a calculated political blow. Or perhaps a random act of revenge. It is difficult to gauge with their kind, who can go either way. Still, he doubts it was an accident, and it is unlikely that his Maker was unaware of his identity.

Godric tilts his head. Newlin is... practiced, but he is young.]

No doubt they expected your change of heart to influence the political and social climate.

[There is someone else's hand at work there, also. A powerplay. Politics. He never did enjoy them.]
