No. I don't want a game. You're no good at them, that Andy-boy in the back of your headspace told me so.
You keep putting strangers in my forest all the time in that tumblr place, anyway. At least there I'm still home.

Oh my, you live in a forest?
no subject
Yes. It's my forest, I protect it and it protects me. And I'd like to stay there, thank you very much.
Why do you have wings?
no subject
My wings? It's because I'm a Haibane.
no subject
I've never heard of Haibane. Is that like an angel? [Brendan's told her a bit about angels. A little bit.]

What's a Northman?
no subject
I don't really know. Strange humans that burn places down for gold, killing everything in their way. So people trample though my forest to hide behind the Walls of Kells.
no subject
That's terrible! Is your forest alright?

Aye, I can agree with ye there. There's naught quite like home. Forests of green and earth are far more comforting than those of stone and mortar.
Where is your home, wee one?
no subject
My forest. Ireland. It surrounds the village of Kells.
Have you been forced to play their twisted games? ...What is it like?
no subject
It can be trying at times, even just with that. I do nae envy ye.

Aye, but she's nae done anythin' with me of late. Simply mill about this place and occasionally waylay those like yerself. It could be worse, I s'pose. I could be sharin' your fate, wee one, and get sent to one of those games.

Perhaps you should try it.
You will never know what you might meet once you leave what you have become accustomed to.
no subject
No. I don't need to meet anything new, like you, and leave my forest alone. I want to go back and stay there. Just being here is bad enough.
no subject
What is wrong with here?
no subject
I guess it's better than a real game, and not everyone is bad, but it's still not my home. I prefer the peace in the trees. Games aren't usually fun from what I've seen. [Monsters, torture, friends appearing and then vanishing without a trace later.]
no subject
Oh, you are from the forest? What is that like?
no subject
[Nobody's ever asked her that before.] It's...beautiful. Trees as far as you can look. And they're peaceful because there aren't a lot of humans in it, yet. There are deer, wolves, kingfishers, sparrows, flowers...lots of flowers. My favorite are snowdrops.

Giant metal creatures. People from 1200 years in the future. There is a ruin-bringing monster, but it's trapped underground.
