I don't get you. Now that they're gonna lay on the feels again, you won't shut up about how excited you are about getting put through the emotional wringer.

Didn't we already go through this once or twice before?

[You and I both know how bad the Ultimate Kevin arc was. From the sounds of it, they're actually gonna get it right this time!]

You and I hated that arc for very different reasons.

And get it right? How about they don't do it at all? What happened to you being all, "Oh, Omniverse is great, look how happy and relaxed and comfortable with himself Kevin is"? Can you just make up your mind?

Details are pretty sparse, but there's a Black Ops branch of the Plumbers trying to weaponize the alien hybrid kids.

So, first you were written as a mutant. But then you got written as an Osmosian. But now it looks like they're going to say you're something different entirely. If this keeps up, you're going to be giving the Joker a run for his money as to how many origin stories a guy can have!

I'd laugh at you about it, except that I can't help but fear that I'll be in the same boat soon enough.

I don't even care what they do to my past. No matter what explanation they frame it with, I lived it, it wasn't fun, and I don't like to think about it.

I'm more concerned with my future. There's been talk about making Ken 10 canon, which pretty much sweeps everything I've accomplished right out from under my feet. My own place, a job, a girlfriend, and a dog? Gone.

So yeah, in the Joker's words? [He taps his chin] I don't wanna know how I got that scar.

Since my mun keeps me strictly in the old canon, that's how the you I know of ends up anyway so I wouldn't really care....but I always went under the assumption you ended up that way for the straightforward reason of "you didn't change". To say all those canon updates from the other shows happened to you and yet you somehow still end up at "Point X"? That's one of the most needlessly convoluted life stories I've ever heard! What's the point?

I don't know. The writers have been pretty good so far, so I'm still holding out hope they'll pull some kind of twist. Mun's already got some theories, none of which are good, but better than turning into that.

Y'know, I actually ran into a Gwen awhile back. Your Gwen, not my Gwen; the one with long hair. We talked about...similar matters to this one.

So I'm just throwing it out there: if your mun ends up being wrong, then maybe you, me and her can go bar hopping. I'm sure with enough to drink, we'll forget all about the nasty details of current canon.
