Inhabiting your labyrinthine mind and enduring the company of the myriad and sundry rapscallions I must share the space with is trying, but I suspect your current schemes spell far worse for me. If I understand correctly, you wish to separate me from my sister and the questionable value of Javier's tutelage, directly after the Inquisitor left us to that fate. While Wanda is of the strict opinion that I am in need of looking after, I say the same of her. We have not and never should be parted. Furthermore, this promise of other selves from other worlds distresses me, and nigh as much the idea of enemies and compatriots alike who come from different times where Witchbreed are embraced and lauded. While I am intrigued by the possibility--you see, I am not quite the bastion of orthodoxy that my sister is, she a sister and I denied the priesthood--I foresee considerable difficulty resulting.

I do not even care for speaking English, though my grudge against the clumsy tongue may well spring entirely from my interactions with that boorish King James. Were it not for the possibility of other souls gifted with speed to match mine, I would refuse my acquiescence outright.

Myriad strange and misbegotten things. Dragons and fae things, unrepented sorcerers, warriors from beyond the stars or earths blighted and dead. And witchbreed from other times from mine, most disquietingly. One man of my own time, and a countryman, should I make the tenuous claim to being a Spaniard, but he is no help. A drunken confidence artist.

How very practical. If I must live sometime that is not my own, I might well choose one where plague is eradicated and there is a way to consult with allies in other lands without my crossing Europe a few times in a day.

This I know, being as I've crossed Europe more than once in a day on occasion and all. And the Inquisitor would always have that those of us who looked human enough came by our gifts honest-wise. I might have believed him before he left me and my sister with Javier's misbegotten apprentices, but for certain, not after.

I can help with that! The phones--for communication--are pretty easy. You just select who you want to talk to, basically, or write it down. It's probably the cultural differences that are hardest.

One might think I'd be prepared when I've often been to Scotland for a morning and Spain again before supper, but I doubt it.

The man himself I can say little of. He has some past knowledge of my patron and his charges are powerful, and his enclave on the new world promises some safety for Wanda, at least.

My sister has been in the world less than I, and while I understand Javier had a female student, she died on the journey. There are hardly accommodations on the blighted continent to suit her, never mind under these circumstances.

I don't think we're even from the same world, and if you go to a game it'll be a whole new world too. But I think some things are always similar even if they're not quite the same.
