My mun isn't that confidant about writing applications either... But I'm sure they can do it! It doesn't look all that scary. I-I'll cheer them both on if I have to...

[ totally not denying that she is basically the coolest ever, though. but it's safe to say she's grown rather fond of elize during their journey together as well. ]

[Totally unfair to let past... true... experiences cloud that. Everyone thought he was nice and good in the beginning, remember? But... Alvin doesn't really have any complaints about Elize's friendship.]

Anyway, I don't think you have to worry about me getting in much trouble. Ain't like we've gotta deal with the same things there, anyway. And it's not doing us any favors to worry about things not working out. I can almost hear Milla judging us for considering it at all.

Well Milla's the Lord of Spirits, and then there's Alvin... he's a mercenary and a big fat liar... but he's getting better! Oh and Jude. He's a Medical student... or he was. But he's really strong too. Rowen is an accomplished military strategist... and Laia... she's really high-spirited.

[Oh boy. It's one thing to be told you're definitely going to some weird place, but entirely another to be told your friends are.]

At least it doesn't seem too dangerous there. We run into enough of that back home. [There's something about the place he doesn't like, but considering some of the other places that have been considered for him? He'll take it.]

... I guess the big question is whether or not you want to go there, Elize. Do you think you'll be happy there?

[That's a big, and important question. It may not mean a lot to the muns in the long run, but he'll definitely feel more comfortable knowing Elize isn't been forced to do anything against her will. None of them would allow that to happen to her again.]

( She can tell there's definitely a difference between the way she looks at it and the way Jude seems to feel about it - though she can't begin to really know why or what it is that's causing it. )

I don't mind. It seems like a very nice place, all things considered. And I can go to school and...

And I'll have a family...

( There it is. There's the big thing for her. Her voice definitely goes softer when she starts talking about the idea of having a family there. )

I-I know it's kind of weird, but I'd like to have more experiences like that...

( You know. Like family things. Even if it's a weird assigned family. There are a lot of things she missed in her life. And even if she had people whom she could say were like family to her... well, it wasn't exactly the same, was it? )

Ah. That makes a lot of sense... of course Elize would be happy to go the sort of place that would give her a traditional family unit - mother, father, and sibling - she'd always longed for. The thought of her getting that wish is a nice one, but in an odd way that very same thing is what puts Jude so on edge... although not for obvious reasons.

She'd get a normal childhood as well, going to school, getting involved with more people her age and making friends like she longed for...]

I don't think it's weird. If you can get that experience, you should make the most of it and cherish it.

Although that... family unit is one of the things I'm a little wary about...

[He knows what the muns are hoping for after all. He still needs more time to properly forgive Alvin, and this is not helping.]
