Truly, mundane, you should know better.
After all this time, you truly believe that I will be the one feminine muse that holds fast in your mind? I don't know whether it's tenacity, or out of sheer stubbornness that you do this.
And of course, of all the inane little AUs to put me in, a high school AU? How completely stereotypical. Unless you're doing it - as Dave would say - "for the ironies." Then it's just insipid.
Though it does give me a chance to calmly explore the possibilities I never would have been able to pursue in the alpha timeline. Hypothetical situations in which I can meet people I've only met in passing in dream bubbles. So it's not all that bad, I suppose.
