I've been getting thrown around from universe to universe for years now. And in my current game it's been months since we last spoke...sort of. There was an alternate universe version of you but he didn't like me much.

My mun thinks it's fun to pluck me out of the world right after I leave Jump City to do my soul searching. So I never really decided one way or the other what to do with myself. Which meant I also wasn't as sweet on you as I should have been.

No, he's still green and irritating. But he did go through this whole identity crisis thing where he stopped using his code name because he didn't have any powers so he didn't think he could be a hero.

[Rolls her eyes to show how stupid that is]

The you that was there before went through something similar. He even tried to recreate the experiment that gave you your powers. It didn't work.

[He was eating too (of course), though a bit less thoughtfully.]

Aw come on, if you were green without the bonus of getting to turn into a T-Rex, you'd be disappointed too.

[That last part is a bit. Troubling.] Why not? The conditions are pretty hard to replicate with precision, but even within a certain margin of error it should still work if you can figure out the right voltage...

See, you're thinking with the old laws of reality. The world I'm in? Totally different ball game.

For example this week, randomly without any warning, the entire network will be displaying some of our deepest most personal memories for everyone to see.

And a couple weeks ago? The entire world was transformed into a black and white pulp noir movie.

Maybe the network got wired into some frequency in tune with your collective brainwaves? The brain is just a big computer, after all!

Can't explain the black and white thing, unless everyone had a collective problem with their visual perception at the same time. But I guess crazier things have happened.

Or it was magic. Also an option.

My acting theory? Since the real world has mashed up with a world made of data the data part of the world can be glitched like a computer. Things frazzle out or a virus gets it mucked up. I'm sure Gizmo could explain it better.

But magic is also an option since the black and white thing also effected our memories.

One week there was a glitch that turned the city into a series of race tracks and we each got our own go-kart.

A world of data? Now that's cool. [Cue a thoughtful bite.]

Maybe you all got sucked into a computer like those old Sci-Fi B-Movies. It'd explain the memory glitches too.

I want a go-cart. Did you get to keep it?

I did not. But I'm saving up to get a car.
