Muse is looking for other Dwarves (Kili/Fili hopefully!) and app in progress
All right, I'll admit that at first I was totally averse to the idea of playing these games of yours.
But this sitting around waiting doesn't suit me either. I'm a Dwarf of action, by thunder! I can't be lounging about like some gluttonous goblin - I need my comrades, I need something to do dammit!!
So figure out what you want to do with me, buckle down and get that app done!

I'm not thrilled about it, but yes, she is. But, as I said, I can't be sitting around all day as I have been. And if you're there I suppose it's not all bad. I confess myself anxious for it, in truth.
But I'm not thrilled with all my mundane's ideas for my payment! Bargaining away memories and objects like they're nothing...she'd do well not to even think about messing with my family memories!!

[Dear Mahal in heaven...imagine that!!]
Yes, my mundane is evidently sending me to this Paradisa place. According to our burglar it's not so bad. To my knowledge there are no other Dwarves there now.
[Thorin reaches out and squeezes Kili's shoulder]
But, as with everything in life, there is a heavy price to staying in this place. Be sure you're willing to pay it, boy - I'd hate to see you suffer.

[The Elf word puts a bad taste in his mouth]
If I encounter any of your Elf trickery while I'm there, so help me Mahal, I'll waste no time putting my Orcrist to your throat!
[Forgetting that Orcrist is an Elf blade, Thorin? Regardless, this is as close as he'll ever get to saying that he's relieved others of his world will be there in Paradisa]

[Frustrated Thorin is frustrated]
You got my point, witch! I'll not fall prey to one of your Elf spells so easily! We Dwarves have magic of our own, don't forget!

You know very little of me if you think I am one to underestimate your race. I have passed through the halls of Khazad-dûm and seen their wonder; I remember, too, the friendship of old between the elves of Eregion and Durin's folk.
Whatever dangers you will face in Paradisa, I will not be among them. I have no quarrel with you. [Even if she can already tell that you will get on her nerves.]

Make sure it stays that way, witch. My friction with Elves may not have started with you, but they certainly apply to you!
[Don't take it personally, Galadriel. He hates all Elves equally. ...Well, except for a certain blonde king in Mirkwood...He gets a very special place on Thorin's shit list.]

I can call you 'witch', or I can call you 'Elf'. I am King Under the Mountain, I will not be told how I should and should not address someone! You think you can scare me, Elf? I was within inches of Smaug's horrible teeth. I watched him burn my people to ashes. I watched your kind turn their back to me when I begged for help.
You frighten me not.
I have no reason to respect or be civil to anyone of your kind.

[He won't anyway. But that's one spoiler that she's going to keep to herself.]
I have made not attempt to frighten you, nor do I have any wish to do so. [And if she does try, trust her, he'll know.] I have asked only the most basic courtesy due one ruler to another- nay, due one person to another. If you chose to hold me responsible for the actions of another, there is little I may do for it, but you must realize that I will not be alone in thinking you foolish.

[Yes, there is such a thing as a 'majestic' scowl.]
I will not ask your forgiveness, Lady. I do not believe that I am wrong here, and I do not believe I have said anything worth apologizing for. But I will indeed put an end to this argument - let it not be said that Thorin Oakenshield is a blundering Dwarf who drove his kingdom into the ground.

And you have my thanks for that.

I do not ask for your thanks, Lady. But I will not spurn it either.

It softens the mind, it dulls one's battle skills and leaves one open for ambush. Just to name a few.

Am I to presume that you're a resident of the castle as well?

[That's a damn lie!!]
...all right they do. But Durin's kin do not. There must be adversaries of some sort to face there, are there not?

And... I dunno, not that I've seen yet? I mean, people probably just settle for fighting each other.

[All the same, in the interest of being polite, he'll try to avoid it...besides, the awkward wave made him chuckle.]
I am Thorin Oakenshield, son of Thrain, son of Thror, King Under the Mountain - as I said.
[No, he will never introduce himself in any other way.]
You may call me just 'Thorin' if you like.

What's even under a Mountain that you would rule over? [ Because Isaac is thinking: just worms. ]

It has rivers of rich ores and jewels the size of your head, lad!
[He's not bragging at all. Nope.]
