[Perez stops - stares. The shock is obvious, but what's more interesting is that it's not as bad as it could have been. Then his mind goes...blank. Almost.

There's something else too. Something inside of him swimming through him that's almost sentient. Almost like a second consciousness. Lurking beneath the surface...waiting. Filled with power and malevolence.
