[Well that earns a near pout from Jude. It's one thing when Milla points it out, but from Alvin, it's a lot less endearing. Still, he knows it's in his character to do so.]

Well, we're almost quite literally puppets, right?

[And then it does sound really ominous. Jude's heard stories of people disappearing in his mun's headspace. He... can't say he wants to be one of those. To just be... forgotten.]

[And of course, the best way to distract from how little he likes being anyone's puppet is to twist the meaning around and move on. Alvin's pretty surprised at Jude's words though. For all his predictability? The kid can be pretty surprising, still saying nice words after all that's happened.
