[ Sorry to be so boring, except for how much he's really not. The feeling of Leviathan crawling underneath your skin is not something a person - especially someone like Cas - can really forget. He feels a little like screaming now, if he's honest. ]

No. You were a mistake. All of it was a mistake.

[Remember that feeling little angel. Remember it and get used to it. The leviathan have made their home here and they are not leaving.]

[ Cas grimaces; this is such a wasted opportunity. If he could only have the chance to speak with himself before Leviathan, he could have prevented so much unnecessary pain and death. ]

Raphael's defeat wasn't worth what I-- what brought you here. I learned my lesson. I never needed power, and I certainly never needed you.

How else would you have defeated Raphael, hmmm? Without us you were weak. Powerless.

[A twitch of the body. Something has ripped and the black ooze is spilling out. This suit is tight, but there are ways of fixing that. There are much more important things at hand.]

[ It's not even technically his body Cas sees tearing and bleeding black in front of him, but it still churns and twists something inside of him - inside of what he actually is. Discovering how to feel emotions, at times, has been such a terrible burden. ]

[ He's damn sure about this, that everything he'd done had been wrong, had been one mistake after another; if he'd gone to Dean, if he'd listened to him...

But he's also not going to waste his time trying to convince a monster - the monster he'd let out - how much he'd learned. ]

For now, the angel speaks. A simple little word that means so very little to them. It's so pathetic, it's comical, even. Enough to make them laugh.]

[The leviathan were hungry, still. They were always hungry. God knew to keep them away from his little terrarium. Apparently the angels had missed the memo.]
