I know you'd like some other movies, books or NBC series people here, but have you really thought through how confusing that could be for me and them? How am I going to see a Hannibal or even know he's the Hannibal Lecter if he doesn't look the same? We have people from different versions of the same reality. What if there's one out there where he isn't a killer. The last one we had was from mine, but he still charmed half the people around before he vanished. I tried to doubt last time. That may not be a luxury I get this time around. No, I'm not going to factor in my drinking affecting that.
Just because they know the name 'Will Graham' doesn't mean they're going to recognise me even if they are from the future of 'my world'. Lecter claimed he had escaped. He said Crawford had died and that others had come into power with the FBI. I died on his office floor before the EMTs brought me back. How could they let him escape? Do they know what he's cost me? What he's done? Or are those cold facts and figures in court transcripts that they lose sight of when he starts talking?
He was right on one thing. Dolarhyde made a mess of my face. He told me the future right on that and a few other things. I'm doing what I can with the 20s coming back to life and darker things like the cultists being whispered about. The newspaper talks about a strange death last week and robberies this week with fires breaking out. Arson, theft and murder. What's going on around here?
