A lot like the EMH, I am designed to make things more user-friendly.

The similarities in our matricies is so I can troubleshoot any errors in his projection program and the like by comparing it to my own.

According to my mundane, I am being asked to provide schematics for a full Federation holodeck to be built.

All of which I am able to provide. I wouldn't be a good diagnostic tool if I only knew the software.

The tricky part will be marrying the Federation technology to the local network for storage, but I'm sure a local computer will be able to satisfy my mundane's needs.

I suppose that depends on what you consider the "original." Naturally we're all inclined to think of our initial state, and for that matter our own universe, as the original.
