On considering him for a particular game

You sure about this, kid?

What am I talking about, you're not sure of anything. Know what you need to do? Take the leap and go for it.

Wreckers don't hm and haw about what ifs. We go in and do it. If you're gonna me my partner, let's go. If not, drop it.

Easy as that.

I see that Wreckers also take those leaps without actually looking.

[ He doesn't care, he's just sayin'. ]

[ RUDE ]

I knew precisely what I was getting into. I highly doubt you have any idea, or you would not be so eager.
break_the_sky: (you've got to be kidding me)

[personal profile] break_the_sky 2013-08-14 08:16 pm (UTC)(link)
"Memory-loss." [ Well, he can't actually say that part's inaccurate... ] Yes, well done. You are obviously well informed.
break_the_sky: but something tells me they are wrong (they claim we'll die without it)

[personal profile] break_the_sky 2013-08-14 08:48 pm (UTC)(link)
[ WELL GOOD the last thing he wants to have to deal with is more Autobots. Even if he won't remember that they're Autobots. Maybe especially if he won't remember that they're Autobots. ]

Not particularly, no. So consider this a warning: Unless you want to be owned, put the brakes on your "partner." Before she starts thinking up ways to warp you.

[ THOUGH ACCORDING TO THIS PLAYER, HOPEFULLY IT'S ALREADY TOO LATE ]

break_the_sky: would you give up this fight? (if I did something right)

[personal profile] break_the_sky 2013-08-14 10:06 pm (UTC)(link)
I mean exactly what it sounds like, Autobot. Nearly every Cybertronian I've heard from at this game is now partially organic, and all of us are incapable of transformation. And those are only the physical effects. Need I go on?

[ Someone's grumpy, and that someone's name is Starscream. He's also not particularly enjoying any part of giving this warning. Wheeljack might be an Autobot, a Wrecker, and someone that Starscream would gladly send to the Pit, but Arcadia is. Not the Pit. He firmly believes it's worse. ]
break_the_sky: when you tell me what you know (I cannot believe you)

[personal profile] break_the_sky 2013-08-14 10:54 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Yes. Yes, Wheeljack was absolutely right in guessing it might piss Screamer off; his wings rise up in sheer affront and he splutters for a moment. ]

You-- It's the principle of the matter! [ Being organic honestly is going to be one of the aspects that bothers him least, perversely enough. Ugh. ]

Fine. Then perhaps the fact that our instincts and emotions will be bent to suit our Keeper's desires, over the course of what will feel like a timeless thraldom, will sound less palatable to you.

Even Megatron would not resort to that. [ ha ha screamer you sound so certain.......... ] Slave, possession, or pet. Those are your choices. Unless you change your player's mind.

I'd get on that, if I were you.

[ Man he's not even happy about this "victory" he's just. Kind of bitter. Get the frag out while you can, Wheeljack, he's already trapped and he honestly wouldn't wish this on anyone okay, except maybe Megatron, some days. ]
break_the_sky: when i can break the sky myself? (why do I need anyone else)

[personal profile] break_the_sky 2013-08-15 01:44 am (UTC)(link)
...They were uncharacteristically determined.
hardassed: (it isn't safe to be yours)

[personal profile] hardassed 2013-08-14 07:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Failing to consider the consequences of rash action is exactly your problem, soldier. Your mun hesitates because she can consider the outcomes of various inadvisable behaviors.

...and mine should not be encouraging either of you. [ Traitors both of you ]
hardassed: (this gives us comfort lacking truth)

[personal profile] hardassed 2013-08-14 08:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Believe me, I have tried to explain to her that this is not a good idea. But given that you and the Decepticons are both apparently going, you need someone there to keep you out of as much trouble as possible.

Including, and not limited to, grenades.
hardassed: (shift the hands of fate)

[personal profile] hardassed 2013-08-14 10:35 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Level look. ] Their second in command, and their medic.

According to the rules of this ...faerie, we neither of us will remember anything about our past lives at first. That means at least you won't be splitting your knuckles in any faction fights right away, but if they remember before we do, there could be ..friction.
break_the_sky: (won't be haunted by dreams I've deferred)

[personal profile] break_the_sky 2013-08-14 10:38 pm (UTC)(link)
If we remember before you do? Hardly. You may want to worry more about your own subordinates' hair-triggers, Majordomo.
hardassed: (in this world that I have dreamed)

[personal profile] hardassed 2013-08-14 10:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Wheeljack's attitude is a concern for me. So is yours.

Everyone involved has good reason to be angry and frustrated. And- ...[ Scared? Guilty?

"Majordomo" indeed. IT'S TRUE THO
]

It won't be like Earth. This isn't the war. Remembering you were fighting for your lives against us is not something I want you to get to first.

break_the_sky: I make a counterpoint (and every time he makes a point)

[personal profile] break_the_sky 2013-08-14 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Damn it Magnus is being patient again. Stop that. Did he really just say that he considered the Decepticons to be fighting to defend themselves against an Autobot threat?

Starscream decides to deal with that by ignoring it. Though he might have unruffled just a tad.
]

No. It seems as if memories will be power, of a safer sort than the setting's magic. [ NOT THAT HE'LL REMEMBER THAT IN GAME ] The fewer memories, the less of your self you will have, and death will send you back into mindlessness. If escape is going to be a priority, then remembering will need to be one as well.

[ Not that they'll have any control over that, or will, well, be aware of any of it... Scrap, knowing what's coming and knowing that you won't have the benefit of any of this knowledge once in is almost the worst part. ]
hardassed: (we're human after all)

[personal profile] hardassed 2013-08-14 11:09 pm (UTC)(link)
And not dying remains the priority it always is, no matter how many more chances you get. [ This is firm. Considering his last memory of home is the ruined world entire, he places a high priority on species survival - and he can tell from Starscream's words that he's already trying to think of ways. ]

Fortunately personalities remain concrete. You'll retain your drive to understand and calculate, and that will serve you. [ And the rest of them, he hopes. No use assuming. ]
break_the_sky: on our own (we might just make it after all)

[personal profile] break_the_sky 2013-08-15 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
Core personalities remain. I suspect that Knock Out may be even more arrogant after all of this. [ Mutter. B|

But he does have a point -- they will have some advantages.
]

It certainly isn't ideal. But we do have the option to succeed. I wouldn't have thought you were the type to give up when victory was yet possible. [ It's not really reassurance, but he's used to soldiers who need reassurance much less than they need pushing. Stubborn anger can be more useful than trying to force calm. ]
