Darktown if it's regulated by some unknown force with the power to strip your magic away. [That was the last event he experienced before leaving the game for good.] It's not much of an adventure if you can't go beyond certain borders without being driving insane. And not in the ha-ha funny way either. [Watching his friends disappear and/or die one by one wasn't so great too.]

For example, Kirkwall was stable in the sense that it was always unstable, just as you can rely on me to be almost always unreliable.

It makes me wonder when "stability" was ever a part of our lives. To say the least, it ceased being stable once I left the tower in Lake Calenhad.

I can't say that I've had any experience with the Circle in The Free Marches, but I've not had a bad life in the tower. Not entirely, at least.
