[ why would you pick her from this canon point
colette looks crestfallen now that she can't properly speak, and her fingers flutter over her throat as she tries to get something---anything---out. ]
...
[ then she's struck with an idea that leaves her beaming, and she reaches out to take hold of a hand to "write" on. ]
... !!
[ but whoops, instead she trips because that's just what dojikkos do in their natural habitat. with a sharp intake of breath and the flailing of arms, colette falls flat on her face, leaving a very clear indentation of her body profile in the ground as dust poofs about. ]

'you're really kind... i'm so happy i get to be friends with you... no matter when we meet.'
it's not that her throat is sore, but... it's the thought that counts. and that colette was going to meet such a nice person in her future--
that's only when she stills and blinks as a thought occurs to her. if they meet in the future, is it before she becomes an angel fully? though presea seemed confused that colette couldn't speak...
for the moment she doesn't write anything, but continues to ponder. ]

She finally smiles.]
Yes. I am glad, as well.
[And then it's back to business.]
My remedy should have a seventy percent success rate, but I do not know the cause of your affliction, so I cannot say for certain.

her smile brightens (are you blinded yet) as she carefully lets go of presea's hand so she could have both hands to work with, and nods. a part of her almost wonders if it will really work. seventy percent is a lot, after all. ]

Presea hands the cup to Colette once those 180 seconds have passed.]
Here, it is ready.
[And also still very steaming.]

but even though she won't be able to taste it, colette still has a desire to drink it. it's a very sweet gesture from a new friend; it's her heart that wants to drink instead of her stomach. and her heart is one of the few things she has left.
mouthing the words 'thank you' with her lips, colette takes the mug in her hands and automatically takes a sip, forgetting to blow over it to cool it off. she has to concentrate and put forth her will into swallowing as her developing angel body tries to reject it. ]

Colette, I believe it is still too hot to drink. Are you all right?

...
[ holding the still steaming cup with one hand, she reaches for presea's. ]
no subject
She automatically extends her hand to allow Colette to write on it.]

'was i like this... when we met?'
it's just one thing she has to know-- though it's a little funny to use past tense when she's really talking about her future. though it is presea's past. though-- ah this place about time really is confusing! ]

I do not believe you were your usual self when we met. We...were very similar.
no subject
[ that causes colette to blink a few times, before her finger goes back to writing.
'similar?' ]
no subject
[Sometimes she wonders if she feels at all even now. But--no, the despair she felt when she awoke was real.]
no subject
'something... then... changed?' ]
no subject
[A soft little smile comes to her face again.]
Lloyd...and everyone helped us.
no subject
'i see... when the time comes... i really look forward... to meeting you.'
it still doesn't make much sense, since she already has met presea but presea met her differently so which one will stay like that and she needs to stay like this to regenerate the world and--
well, for now she will just have to see what comes, and be ready for it. ]
