Well, you're certainly bound and determined to test the limits of what one can bear, aren't you .. ?

Even the strongest of pillars will crack, eventually, and I've accepted that -- just as I have a great number of inevitable outcomes, both within this prison and the empty reaches of space. But it will be a while yet before my Fate is sealed. My ability to draw breath should have been indicative of that from the very start.
You make light of my future, and yet I've reconciled with these things long ago.
Regardless, I would appreciate at least a little reprieve from all this ... Chaos. There is only so much responsibility a man can take upon himself in a lifetime, and I believe this one has incurred enough faults to account for several of them.
[Not to mention some ridiculous idiosyncrasies, thanks in no small part to certain living arrangements. . . But what is it the younger generation says these days? Oh, right. YOLO]
