I know you're of mixed emotions, mun. You're happy for a happy ending and seeing us move on to the next stages in our lives but at the same time you're sad to see that you won't be waiting for updates anymore. (I also know that you facepalmed when you read about the "Madness of Boobs". To be honest, I don't blame you. Hopefully that will lessen with time.)

Still, Father told me once that life isn't like reading a story. For you, the story's ended, but for me, my friends, and the rest of both humanity and the witches? There's still a lot of work to be done to make sure the happy ending we have now lasts long past the next several generations. Hopefully when it's my time to pass the torch, the world will be in better shape than when I received it. Then when it's my successor's time to pass on, it will be in even better shape than the way I left it, and so on.

I know you're worried about those dissenters that were mentioned with my...I suppose "coronation" is the only word to describe it. The new order I'm bringing to our world is going to need some adjustment. There are those on both sides who don't want to let go of past grudges. There may even be those who seek to worship and follow my...brother...and even try to release him. Full acceptance of it all is going to take a while, but humanity has an advantage over witches and even gods: Your lives are very brief so you're capable of changing so much faster than those of us with infinitely longer life spans and fresher memories of the mistakes of the past. I'm honored that Father made me in your kind's image.

Perhaps one day, this "Okubo" of yours will think to update you on how this new journey of mine and my friends' is working out. But in the meantime, be assured we'll be all right.

After all, we will not submit to fear.

I don't blindly follow him. I know he made mistakes, terrible ones which are going to take decades if not centuries to fix. [You being one of them, dear brother.]

However, knowing his flaws and the full extent of his mistakes doesn't make me love him any less.

There are always people who don't want peace. After all, even after hundreds of years, there are still people who refuse to accept weapons as people.

You're right, of course. But hopefully the influence of the dissidents will be less pronounced as time goes on much like those people who think Weapons are subhuman.

One day at a time is all we can do for now.

Doing very well. Already very busy. Even busier than before, to be honest. With no more Deathscythes, I'll be the one going to the worst of the hot spots personally. [At least they have a death god who can do that now.]

[If he didn't know Stein, he'd ask if the man had started babying her yet. As it is, Kid's probably going to do it enough for the both of them.]
