I believe in curses. Do you, mun? Well, I believe you when you say this place you want to take me has them. But they seem kind of mean at times, but that's something everyone has to put up with, right? If I make friends there, we can all work together and overcome them!
It will be like a game, though I'm not sure if this one is winnable. Is it, winnable, mun? Maybe we'll find out!
For now, I'm excited to know that you still think of me! Thanks so much, it makes me happy to know that!

...or should we be giving out our real names?

...real names? What do you mean? You got another name aside from your real one?

[One - her brother is super rich and could kill on sight with the security he's hired. Two - she's not really worried, she just wants to see what his reaction is.]

I guess you have a point. But would they really want to do that? [His family and friends have already been used against him, and still he thinks this way.]

[It's not surprising to see her so positive about all this, even with curses. That's how she always was...
What an airhead.]

[Yep, playing dumb here. Small bombs, being told they would die if they didn't complete the game within a certain time frame or if they didn't follow the rules...
Nope, totally wasn't her that set that one up.]

Because it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. She's not coming to Death City, she won't have to see her...
No, it doesn't matter.]
Doesn't sound like this one will be much better, though. I mean, what kind of curses are we talking about here?
[An innocent grin on her face, bordering on demented.]

[She seems to grimace slightly when mentioning the latter there, however her expression is still innocent and believable. It's something she learned along the way, to just smile and make people believe that she's an innocent bystander instead of that mad, demented girl.
She notices Clover's smile, one she recalls from a future which only she experienced. Something about that, it brings her glee, happiness as she remembers the girl's insanity driven murder spree. But is also thankful that is not the future that ended up being true, at least, not for her.]

She grimaces at the thought, though, just as June had done; except hers doesn't seem to fade nearly as quickly. Not only would it be painful to see such a thing, but she is quick to realize...it goes both ways.]
Now that hardly seems fair. I wouldn't want any losers snooping around my past.
[She stares fixedly, as if to say 'least of all someone like you.']
Can't you do something about it?
[Like I did— Clover had solved her own problems, without her brother for once, and all she needed was that axe.
She has no regrets.]

[And mun is a sadist, so there might be some unwanted memories going out for all to see. But mun might also want to keep such a thing a secret just because. It wouldn't be fun to reveal Akane so quickly, now would it? It's why Akane's okay with her mun, because they both have the same sadistic thoughts, and what they can do to make things interesting.]

Interesting is good, isn't it? Clover likes interesting, too...she's all over learning about others' juicy little secrets and things they've tried to hide, really. Just...maybe not at the expense of her own.
June, on the other hand...
Well.]
You look almost happy about it.

[That working as a team was the best solution. That working as a team was her coverup, and acting like an innocent girl who was thrown into this game with a fever. That was was concerned about everyone's well-being, and worked to be friendly with the very man she hated.
An actress and a liar are the two things she's best at. Or maybe they're one in the same.]

There's no way she could; not anymore. It's a laughable thought, though she does suppress the sarcasm well enough when she speaks.]
Right. Of course! Just like during the Nonary Game.
[That stupid game that she's had to deal with twice now.]
Except your life won't be in danger this time...will it...?
[The way she phrases it, it's hard to tell whether it's a question or not. Her voice lowers, in volume and in pitch. She is pretty much assuming no, until otherwise proven.
She has to fight a war against witches, while June's on a play-date, making friends with the other kids.
...Fair, real fair.]
