Are you really doing this? I know there aren't many places that accept AUs, but what in the universe are you thinking, sending an ex-engineer somewhere that technology doesn't even work? So what if there are castmates there?! I don't even know MOMO, and Wilhelm's app isn't in yet so it's castmate anyway.

I'm not talking you out of this, am I? Fine, but don't expect me to actually help with this. If I could actually access your computer, I'd be deleting that file.

And quit thinking about how funny it would be if you got someone to bring Ms. Uzuki or Kevin from canon! Or...or my Ms. Uzuki. That wouldn't be funny. You know how awkward that would be. I'll be lucky if she doesn't hate my guts after everything I told her on Miltia. So just...give me some time to sort myself out before you start trying to make me face her again.

And no, I don't want Virgil or Albedo around, either. They're not my friends, they're jerks that think antagonizing me into snapping back is fun.

I do not recall making you into a Testament, Allen. This is already rather strange to me, but useful none the less.

That's why my mun's so happy you reserved at the game she was considering for me. She loves the idea of sticking me somewhere with castmates either me or my canon self has a connection to and watching the timeline differences make things weird for everyone.

*His lack of amusement is palpable.*

It makes little difference to me. My mundane has already posted his application.

Mine's just got the samples now. She'll probably have the whole thing up by the end of the night.

I am more than patient. My mundane, however, is a different story.

That's something they have in common. Mine shouldn't even be writing apps right now, she has a project due Wednesday and eleven more sketches to ink for it. But apparently she's that eager to get me in now that she's decided for sure she's sending me.

Oh? You were even less agreeable than Shion. Are you certain that you agree with me, Allen?

[ What? Even Wilhelm can be skeptical. ]

*Yeah, he can see the canon version of him kind of...seething in the back of his mun's headspace.*

We've had different experiences, so we look at it in different ways. I can't say I agree that the Recurrence is the only way, but I think it has to be an option. It should be up to mankind to decide whether to move forward and try something else or put it off for another cycle in the hopes that something will change.

The Recurrence was only the least painful option for this cycle. The only other futures that are ultimately favorable will not come without great sacrifice.

[temptestament]

I...kind of wish people had been ready to make those sacrifices in my cycle. I can't blame Ms. Uzuki for wanting a reset after finding out that the Gnosis appeared in response to her power and that her fiancé was lying to her about what kind of person he was and what he was after, but I'd always kind of hoped that it wouldn't be necessary.

It is a tragic flaw in humanity, Allen, that many are more willing to accept a lie, than they are to accept the truth. It is my desire to see humanity rise above such weaknesses. Unfortunately, I must settle for complacency. After all, I exist because they cannot be trusted to save themselves.

[temptestament]

The other people in my mun's headspace are saying things are going to go better your cycle, at least.

One can only hope. The future is always changing. Zarathustra's destruction proved that. Humanity has finally gotten their wish. I will intervene if they begin drifting towards annihilation, but now, they must pass their final test, and prove to me that they are capable of taking their fate into their own hands.

Suffice it to say that I am not optimistic.

[temptestament]

I think they can make it. If everyone decided to refuse Recurrence, then it probably means that they're willing and able to face whatever situations they have to to protect the universe.

[oforder]

They will not be 'able' for quite some time, Allen. The UMN is no longer usable, trillions of humans lost their lives. I would say that humanity requires my guidance now more than ever, though I will be willing to give them a chance to prove me wrong. Unfortunately, I already know what the result of that will be.

[temptestament]

Things don't always go according to what's expected, even for you. I wasn't supposed to die three years ago. *He waves his hands as if to say 'but here I am'.* And in your Recurrence, you wanted Mary to awaken in T-Elos, didn't you?

I can see all possible futures. Mary awakening in T-elos would have ensured that KOS-MOS would not destroy the Key. When T-elos was destroyed, I knew it was too late.

Now that Zarathustra has been destroyed, more possibilities have opened. However, even the most favorable of futures will require more sacrifices. I do not have faith that humanity will be willing to make them.

People are surprising. They don't always show what they're really capable of until they have to.

The Collective Unconscious does not lie, Allen.

But it changes, doesn't it? People learn and grow under pressure.
