how bout that trailer
Let me see, first, if I understand.
You find out that this face—which I also like, might I add—must be changed because the man behind it has gone to another project. This upsets you, because you like my face—which I also must add is liked by most every woman I have come across. Now, however, more footage is shown, and this man picking up my mantle is nowhere to be found.
And that upsets you as well. Why? You were so ready to dislike any move he made, would you not be just as upset if he looked as poor in the part as you want him to?
[man shut up just let me be mad you weren't even in the thing come on dude don't be all hearty about this]
What you fail to realize is that it hardly matters if my face has changed. It does not matter if this new man appears too "goofy" or that his eyes are brown, not blue. What matters is only that I remain who I am, even if the face has changed. If I'm shorter or taller, if I'm fatter or thinner—though I'd like to shy away from fatter, since Volstagg would be even more intimidated by me than he already is ordinarily—or if anything else. What matters if that it's me, nothing else.
[gettin real peanuts christmas special there fandral collar that dog]
Besides, there was always the Lady Sif to see more of. How could you be upset with that?

[If his eyes suddenly got blue again, doesn't that mean...]
Until then, I cannot see a reason to be overly aggravated. I am sure I am in the background, just not easily spotted.
[Nothing too different there, compared to Thor.]

[ Then again, they're all part of the background next to Thor. They always have been. That's part of the problem. ]
Perhaps it's best we not dwell unduly upon it.

But I guess given how many of us there are in this thing, it's not surprising that some of us get the shaft.

no, actually, do, he's a gentleman]
You appeared, and you'll be around. That's what should matter, is it not?
no subject
Well, obviously. It's hard not to be a little disappointed, though.
Though, at least I got to watch Jane punch Loki in his dainty little face.

[ she's teasing. as usual. ]
I would like to see you squatter and rounder, if I have a choice. If only for the blow to your ego that would surely follow.

Surely you're not commenting on my girth, Lady Sif? I would never comment on yours.
no subject
Oh, never. But at the very least, my face will remain the same. Does it rankle, dear Fandral?

And in what manner is Volstagg intimidated by you, my friend?
no subject
He's very intimidated by my overwhelming charm and dashing good looks. Are you saying you've never thought, just once, about how you pale in comparison?
[FANDRAL'S THE BEST DON'T LIE even if he's basically Thor Lite shh]

Ah—
[ omg. he can't even hold his laughter back. seriously. this is like the best joke he's heard in a while. he's laughing so hard that tears begin to well in the corners of his eyes. ]
My apologies. It seems you have stumbled upon my most fiercely kept secret.
[ but he'll play along. sort of. you know, between the laughter. ]

Gain some girth and a beard worth the mention and I might even begin taking you seriously, good Fandral. By all means, let's see how well you can dash as a god of substance!

Though, it's odd, this ability the muns have to change our faces. Makes you wonder if Loki's trickery isn't involved.

Thor's sexy, too, but pfff. Who cares about those rippling muscles and that hair and...]
Your flattery gives me strength, Lady Sif. [Among other things.] I feel I may now go into battle without ever tiring, thanks to hearing such sweet words from your lips.
i frickin' love it every time i tag with you ok
[innuendos, outuendos...]
my biggest compliment, you totally made my morning!

Your face is - will be - ...unseen under your great beard. As always.

[Cue up the beard stroke, because it's totally happening right now.]
It is grand in its simplicity, I must agree with you there. Perfectly coiffed, it...is one of my more intimidating traits, you are wise to admit as much.
