Might last minute app at
towerofanimus now oops
I certainly hope you're properly considering this, mun. You are just catching up now with your previously committed characters, correct?
I am glad you remembered how busy you're likely to be during the month you were considering sending me there. However, rushing me in now seems impulsive. I know you've practically gotten it fully written, but that's simply because you've already tried me at four places previously. I'm growing tired of this. You'd best be certain before you try again.
[:)] I know you're impossible to convince once you've made up your mind, though. Just don't claim you weren't warned.

[Even though I held off apping him elsewhere in favor of that which he didn't like oops.]
We can have Alex? x3
Silly muses, xD get huffy easily.]Maaaaybe...

[Since Felix doesn't wanna talk to him really...]
Because I can!
I see you're bounded for a game again??
[Alex shush, he doesn't want his demon friend to know everything at once.]
Yaaaaay
Yes. It appears the groundwork is already fully laid.

[Sheba would be voicing her vehement "No, don't do it!" ... if this Alex wasn't from a canonpoint where he was disguised. Sure, she has her suspicions, but she's not going to try and run him off without confirmation, and she's not in the right mindset to try and read his mind right now. Even if she was, he could easily keep her from finding anything.]
You sound sort of like someone I knew once. If you're anything like him, you'll probably be able to handle yourself just fine. [Alex was insufferable, but he was also capable. She can't deny that.] It's not a nice place, though.
no subject
I'm sure I can take that as a compliment. I have heard it's quite horrible. Rest assured I'll be as careful as I possibly can.
[Unless his mun forces him into crap. Which she will.]
no subject
[She says it casually, watching his face to gauge his reaction. Of course, if her suspicions were right, there probably wouldn't be much there for her to read, but it's a safer bet than trying to read his mind is.]
It's easy to say "I'll be careful." I said that too, when I first got there. A lot of things happen that aren't really within anyone's control.
no subject
Of course they do. One's actions greatly determine whether or not the outcome will be horrible in those situations, however.
no subject
You'll be okay if you go there. No amount of scheming on your mun's part will keep you from... [Her voice trails off and she sighs heavily.] ...from accomplishing whatever it is that you hope to accomplish.
no subject
... I appreciate the vote of confidence. I'm certain her schemes won't affect me much.
[Since she has to be IC and doesn't know what they are now exactly...]
no subject
[She's not sure anything affects him, really. The Wise One had stopped him, but the Wise One had the power of a god. Nothing else had been enough - not loyalty to his clan nor loyalty to his immediate family, not his conscience, certainly not whatever schemes Saturos, Menardi, and the other Proxians had cooked up.]
...but please, be careful. From what I've heard of the Tower of Animus, it isn't a place I would wish on even my worst enemy.
no subject
But...wow, he's slightly surprised by her comments after the way her son bitched him out.]
I appreciate your concern. Then again, I suppose that's in your nature. It does sound quite awful, but I've already described the nature of her decisions.
no subject
even when they deserve it. That doesn't keep her from getting annoyed, though - which, incidentally, is what she is right now.]Yes, it's in my nature to hope for the best. Just as it's in your nature to dash those hopes.
[...Rief had to get it from somewhere.]
Some of my friends will be in that place with you. I'd appreciate it if you left them out of your schemes this time around. They have enough on their plate without you using them to further your own goals.
no subject
I assure you, I won't do anything unnecessary.
no subject
[It's not that she hates him. It's more that she knows she can't trust him, and that he's done things she can't forgive. "Hate the sinner, not the sin," and yet she has a hard time letting go of the fact that he betrayed her.]
no subject
No, I don't believe it is. Something necessary is something that needs to happen or dire consequences are risked. That's the generally accepted definition.
no subject
[She knows that ultimately, Alchemy did need to be restored. What she's more upset about is that Alex set out to do it without a word to her, that he didn't even try to explain, and that he used saving the world as a means to an end to become more powerful. It's selfish and self-serving and that he's done his best to avoid her ever since makes her more angry than anything else does.
But she supposes their friendship in childhood was just a means to an end, too. After all, he had to have someone to hone his skill in Psynergy with before he left Imil forever.]

Did you really think so ill of me as to believe that if you tried to explain I wouldn't at least try to understand it? I'm your cousin. I trusted you.
But I guess that never meant anything to you at all.
no subject
[Aaaand ignoring the rest of that, because he prefers you disliking him. Even though he still likes you. Hi I'm your messed up cousin...]
no subject
[It's likely that she wouldn't have believed him; she was born and raised to protect Mercury Lighthouse, after all. But people change. Alex changed somewhere between their childhood and the start of their quest - Mia changed during it.]
It matters a lot to me. But I don't expect you to understand that. I don't expect much of anything from you anymore.
no subject
I didn't expect that you would. [Your girly-voiced son gave him a huge lecture, okay?]
no subject
Mia sighs heavily. Speaking with him is exhausting - but when else is she going to get the chance to? He seems compelled to answer her, here; she's sure if she ran into him anywhere else that he'd leave her in an instant.]
I see. I would congratulate you on finding new friends that your odds favored, but it doesn't seem as if you want anything to do with them now that they've outlived their usefulness as well.
no subject
Mia, I simply meant the odds of you understanding at that time were not high. I'd rather you not put words in my mouth.
[Even if he did tell Felix that last part, shhhhh.]
