Although I know I should be really grateful to get to experience those precious moments again, I still think it's much better to live in the present. It's not that I'm running away from anything - Miu-chan always remembers where she came from, after all! - but it's just that there are things in my life right now that I think are more important. "When we were little kids, we thought like little kids. Now we're adults and think about things the adult way." Right? So it doesn't help anyone, returning to the past all the time. Instead you should let me look forward! Bright and exciting things are awaiting there, too! Mmn, I'm sure of it.

Ren-san has changed plenty. Just in... subtle ways.

I suppose that's how everyone changes as they grow older - in subtle ways. The differences between younger Miu and more mature Miu are probably subtle, too.

Usually. Unless you have some major crisis, change usually comes slowly.

A sudden crisis sometimes only means everything stops and doesn't get further... than that.

That can be a change in and of itself. Stagnation instead of growth.

My mother... after my father's death... She got so caught up in running their business that everything else didn't matter as much. That's what I think of as stagnation, though I don't think badly of her because of it. No... Nothing like that.
