[The Maestro sighs, rubbing at his eyes.] It's been three months since you last took me out, and almost a year and a half since you created me. Don't you think that I deserve a proper rest, for once?
[He waves a dismissive hand.] Oh, sure, you're 'restarting' me over here. My friendships with Professor Song, Captain Harkness, and Miss Clemmons all swept away. Back into denial and pop songs and being--well, let's not mince words here, being a sort of goof. But it'll go back into existentialism and crisis. I'm just saying.
[He considers for a moment, and snorts out a laugh.] Oh, who am I kidding. You're a bloody writer, you already know that.
