finished the series.
It's like my very own smorgasbord out here. I feel spoiled, I really have to applaud this opportunity to broaden my horizons. Still, you need to know your end-game and understand your own motivation before raising your hand like this, it's only common sense. Well, more than a little, but don't worry about a thing — you picked me. And before all the couch therapists come running, so wholly relentless in loving the sound of their own voices, I think I'll settle in for good right here. Bask. Relax.
There's so much out there just waiting to be unravelled, unlocked. It's kind of poetic, the high I'm on. I'd say I don't expect you to understand, but you should probably settle down before you strain something in excitement.
Seriously, park it.

[ He remembers a bunch of calls going unanswered while he was freaking out, psh. ]

[ Okay, that sounded mildly grumpy. ]

Could talk about the time I spent nearly a year trying to get used to your ability. [ He shoots Sylar a look that's... really a grab bag of emotions. ] You never know what you're gonna get into with these places, Sylar.
no subject
[ Hush, now he's interested. ]

[ That's what Sylar decided to start with, (and that's a fairly nice way of putting it) but it got far, far more complicated than that. The thing with Carrie just made it that much worse. But in all honesty, Peter's not sure recounting the exact details is such a good idea. ]
Found a way to get around it- worked most of the time.

I'm so sorry you had to go through that.

It was a chain of events that tumbled out of control far too quickly, yet Sylar had control of it from the very start. And the entire time, Peter never truly believed that Sylar was sorry about a single thing. He wasn't sure he was capable of it, at the time, but they functioned. Somehow.... no, actually, Peter knows exactly how they functioned ]
It happened, Sylar. You don't have to apologize for it. Didn't really make any friends, but i'm pretty sure you kept me from going after the entire city.

[ Snapping authoritatively, he isn't about to brook being told when and with whom to sympathize when it's his ability getting spread around. ]
Don't brush off someone like that.
no subject
Brush you off? [ Really? ] See it however you want, Sylar- that's not what I meant. Pretty sure you don't get to tell me when i'm supposed to be shut up gracious and when i'm allowed to have an opinion.

With a flick of two fingers he closes Peter's mouth for him. Folding his arms, Sylar raises his brows (he's always wanted to be good, not a boy-scout). Airily; ]
I think I do.

Prepare to be leveled with one of the most scowliest scowls he can manage. And then a rather hearty shove to the chest because Peter's mature like that. If only he had a nail gun. ]
no subject
You're the one being deliberately obtuse, not me.
no subject
Maybe because letting you in on everything really doesn't seem like the best idea. Or is this the part where i'm just supposed to nod and smile for your benefit?
no subject
[ Psh, have a nudge. He barely almost-kind-of-didn't touch you, you big baby. ]
no subject
[ He tips a little sideways at the nudge, sighing begrudgingly. ] 'Specially since we've already passed the part in our relationship where we're supposed to share our feelings.
no subject
[ Really, Peter should be glad he didn't make a joke about picking your brain. Opted for the lesser of two evils. ]
no subject
Not even sure we'd need to at this point. [ See, he can joke about this without getting flustered for all those... other reasons. ]
no subject
What's that look for?
